First of all I would like to say thank you. After watching every one of your videos I went out and did what I had to do and now I am running a successful store. Now for the meat of it, There are no friends out there. I don't care if you are a woman or someone ive known for years. You are endangering my wallet when you are against me. Straight up. I wouldn't care. I love buying storage auctions because I get a thrill of what you are going to find in each bin,box,corner etc. I'm serious with what unit will be mine. I'm one of the most aggresive bidders in my area and I've only been doing this a few times.

We were on Panola Rd. Lithona first auction of the day and it was me , my son, another man and his wife. and six young ladies huddled so close together you would have thought they were one. I got the first two units and was bidding on the third when one of them asked, "You gonna buy them all?" I said nope and pointed at the other guy and said he's gonna get the last two." I knew I was low on funds. I didn't let him get them cheap and I never saw any of the ladies again after that.

I am female and this whole concept has never even occurred to me. I knew I had to be kind of tough from the beginning. There are a ton of asshole (core group) bidders, be we just ignore everything and do our own thing.

Ironically, my fiancee said the same thing when we went to auctions together. She was complaining more about how the guys don't let the ladies go into the elevator first, push & shove even when not looking at the unit. I tried to explain it to her but she did not care. Generally, people try to be civil, but there is no special privileges for women.

@StickyickyX - kinda of funny when you think about it, a competitive environment where one would expect someone to give them the edge. On some of these auctions you only have seconds to make your evaluation, if you are a "gentleman" you can lose out, I have seen it happen!
