Just to clarify, the Fireside Bowl was in Illinois, not Indiana. It was on Fullerton Avenue and was the main subject of the song "Somewhere on Fullerton" by Allister, a Chicago-based pop-punk band. It was an amazingt venue, one of my favorites as a teenager growing up in the Chicago punk scene.
