I used to have the same problem. It's nice to have a walktrough or game guide near you, so it can tell whenever an enemie is lurking around the cornor.
You can also just turn down the volume and listen to your own music, this helped me a lot when I was a bit younger.

I really like to play the Tomb Raider Games cuz of the killing ppl bit but im too scared!!!

I hav tomb raider chrinicles and on the 1st level theres thessse dogs that come out of nowhere and they freak me out!!!!

I feel you. Sometimes I have to turn off the volume when I'm playing Tomb Raider because of some creepy stuff. And i play TR in the morning.

i had the same problem and didnt play tomb radier for years and now i see how poor the graphic is and now its just funny,,,(at that time i was 6)
