While I think the Bible is absolute bullshit, I hate it when atheists go out of their way to insult people for believing it. It's not as if that woman's Christianity negatively affected him. This is stupid. All this creates is hatred on both sides. Of course, I'm not an active viewer of this show, I may be wrong. I'd like to watch two families on the fence of these issues instead of so extremely opposite. I would love to hear rational compromises instead of stark contrasts that will only last until they swap back. It get's views but it doesn't get people thinking, it just makes them have more disrespect for the other side. Too bad. It reminds me of, "Be reasonable, do it my way."
If one accepts that the 'best country" is equal to the country that has the best social indicators (low poverty, high education, high GDP per capita, etc) then the "best country" in the world has consistently been Norway (all of Scandinavia ranks very high in this regard). Australia is second I believe.

@IrishmanNH half kind of downplays it. Its more like 9 out of 11. And its not called the Torah, its the old testament, though indeed that is pretty much the same as the Jewish ToRaCH, so its cool. Every religious person has to have at some point judged theirs right, often that includes judging others wrong. The kid was blunt but he wasn't wrong in what he said, it was the woman wo blatantly refused to listen and tried forcing him into silence. If a Buddhist did that, same reaction.

While I think the Bible is absolute bullshit, I hate it when atheists go out of their way to insult people for believing it. It's not as if that woman's Christianity negatively affected him. It's not like she was calling him evil or attempting to force him to believe. She was minding her own business and he went out of his way to be an ass about it. This is stupid. All this creates is hatred on both sides. Of course, I'm not an active viewer of this show, I may be wrong. I'd like to watch two families on the fence of these issues instead of so extremely opposite. I would love to hear rational compromises instead of stark contrasts that will only last until they swap back. It get's views but it doesn't get people thinking, it just makes them have more disrespect for the other side. Too bad. It reminds me of, "Be reasonable, do it my way."

If one accepts that the 'best country" is equal to the country that has the best social indicators (low poverty, high education, high GDP per capita, etc) then the "best country" in the world has consistently been Norway (all of Scandinavia ranks very high in this regard). Australia is second I believe.

The women, though screened by the show beforehand, don't know anything about who they're switching with. It's one of the show's biggest gimmicks.
