Yeah, everyone, if you've seen the 4 minute clip that MTV did behind the scenes, there's still more to this scene. Like Bella getting her hand bitten, her being cornered by James, & even Bella screaming "No, Edward, don't!"

[Which, BTW, is on page 450 of Twilight. I'm not sure how it will be interpreted in the movie, but in the book, when Bella shouts this it, she is screaming this for the camera. Remember, James is video-taping this, so it was a plea to Edward not to come hunt James down]

one of the crew from an interview said, he has never seen a film script as identicle as Twilight, i mean obviously there will be some alterations, but remember in the book we didn't get any detailed description of how james was killed.. i mean i love the book, but the movie provides opportunites that the book couldn't, graphic effects etc..

The script is different from the book because it is an adaptation of the novel. Twilight the Movie is based on Twilight--it's not going to be verbatim.

Movies and books are two different mediums. Movies are visual and fast; books rely on imagination and can take their time getting to the point. Inner monologues and subtle body language are very hard to pull off in a movie, so they make it dialogue or cut it out entirely.

I like the scene However it's not what was in the book and is disappointing. I have dissected the books. And it will be sad that the movie will not live up to the book, however it will be special in its own way.

I cannot wait till August 2nd to read Breaking Dawn, the first chapter sounds amazing.And it is sad that it will be the last book. I am equally excited for Midnight Sun which is coming out next spring.

Ever since it was made known that a film was being made, me and my friends have been hanging on to every peice of news, re-reading the book till we lose count. We expected magic, we expected to be blown away by the film, we expected it to be nearly as good as the book.

I'm sorry to say to the film producers we are severly disapointed. This scene from the book couldnt be more wrong.

And why is the film going to be rated PG, the majority of the readers are at least 15, this gives them room for a bit of blood and guts dosnt it!!!!

actually, this is only a min of the fight scene. Lots of backstage/promo vids have cuts and stills where it shows much much more to the fight scene that can obviously be shown in a min long clip. For example, I've seen the still of Bella's wrist bitten in many different promo vids. :) We haven't seen all of it yet...yeah, can't wait!

I love it. And that's putting it calmly...cause underneath I'm bubbling in excitement!! I'm trying to contain! 6 more months?!?!?! GAH! No way. lol Yeah, it's different from the book, but that's ok. As we all know, a movie adaptation is always slightly different compared to the book. The essence is very much there, and that's all I care about. Rob...holy crow, was awesome...I agree with KelleyH, the way he looks at her...it's smoldering with traces of heartache underneath...:) LOVE IT!

Well, it's different from the book but still good. I didn't think Robert could really play Edward but after seeing some of the clips and behind the scene stuff, he fits him rather well. The looks he gives her are not only surprisingly sexy but also heartaching.
