Hi, i have a OO Garden Railway and want to run Live Steam, i understand about the power and only 1 loco on 1 track, but have you had any running problems, thanks Richard
what track do you use and were do you get it from because ordinary track rust very easily even if it gets just the slightest bit cold and damp???????? because i am haveing a serious think about building a 'oo' track outside because i have one in my shed and would like to expand. any advice. by the way i cant go bigger than 'oo' because eveything else is too expensive and i'm only 14 and ive only got a paper round to keep me going. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i read about some one in a railway magazine and he built a bridge over a 6ft pond for his railway.BIG MISTAKE!!!after a couple of years termites ate the inside supports and when he ran a BNSF train over it,splash!!he's never found it since.[its to deep to get it out]
what happens if it rains?

yuri5677 1 year ago
@yuri5677
Yes, 1 for "00" and 1 for 16mm( 32mm gauge)
velovenom2007 1 year ago
what's up with the missing bridge/track at 0:55?
simstorial 1 year ago
Bridges are removable for access, can only have one in position at any time.

Nice video.

Very impressive, the loco seems to have plenty of power despite '10 on'. How many circuits can it do on one filling?
JimTLonW6 2 years ago
Have never counted! With careful use of the controls she can run around 25-30mins.on one filling.
velovenom2007 2 years ago
That's really impressive, I thought it might have been around 5 minutes or so!
JimTLonW6 2 years ago
who long did it take to make this layout and how much did these cost
MrRyman100 2 years ago
Don't know, never logged it.
velovenom2007 2 years ago
I bet you need to clean that track often due to rust and bird droppings!Any problem with cats chasing the trains?
UKPatriotsFan 2 years ago
Peco nickel silver track does not rust, just tarnishes. No trouble with either birds or cats and track cleaned only before a run.

Awesome! An OO train outside!
ElectricTrains2001 3 years ago
do you need a bigger more powerful control unit for larger track or not
418tj418 3 years ago
you need wires linking to the track far from the start and end of the track and also extra power leads to supply the power needed to those parts
tahthing 3 years ago
thanks alot, where can i get the track from cheapily?
418tj418 3 years ago

i wander what would happen if a twig fell on the oo scale track as a train was about to enter the part...
jwsymons4 4 years ago
Sod the scenery.. that's what I call a mainline run.. Reminds me of the speed you can get out of a tri-ang Princess when 12volts are applied!
metadyneman 4 years ago 2
i wouldnt mix scales but hey good track
Jonny4472 4 years ago
