i would like to know,who is the girl with (sorry for saying this) smallest/shortest body? she attracts me a lot,even in Arcadia @Dance Power. :D what is the youngest age among them?
this group is more than awesome! they did so well and i like their teamwork.
i love pt! :) No awards can EVER surmount to how much people love this dance. Just for some clarification, a group is considered "semi-professional" when they dance for pay on a part-time basis (which PT clearly does not qualify). If anything, (for next time), an open category would probably work; and it really depends on the competition and their own guidelines for entering different categories.
it doesnt matter whether the teacher is there or not they wouldve smoked it anyways, and I know that there are kids as young as grade 9 in that group which can dance much better than other older ones...its not about how they got the 1st place because theyre older, or teachers dance with them, its how determined they are to put in so much in one dance...also how passionate they are on their given talents
Yea see thats where its gets complicated because theres a variety of ages in our group...and our training is not much compared to the studios we compete agaisnt

were not professional at all... not even close, we practice once a week, in a gym with bad flooring... this is our first year ever competing in novelty.. we had no idea how it was going to turn out
My point is.. that having the teacher dance with us did not make the dance any better.. I don't think the points would have been different if he WASN'T dancing with us.
"not fair to be taking awards away from younger kids"?? We didn't put ourselves there.. We were completely honest with our ages when we registered and they put us in that category....
We are actually hurt that people would go so far as to get us disqualified... when really to us it wasn't about winning the trophy... we just wanted to show people how much fun we have up there on the stage...thats whats unfair...I mean what other dance competition in the lower mainland would Hair spray fit in?
This group has competed without the teacher and still won.. I don't think having the teacher in there is the reason why the dance wins.. and all the other dance studios get way more practice time, PT doesn't even have a studio.... so what's really fair??
also our younger group was placed in a category competing against kids way older than them.. you don't hear us complaining
