Things are really taking shape your yard is going to look like something out of Better Homes and Gardens. If by husk cherries you are talking about what I call ground cherries they are related to the tomatillo and take a long time to germinate and are slow to grow but all of a sudden they take off and produce lots of fruit before summer is over, very good too.
@dalecalder2003 Thanks for the info. I decided to give them another try after reading this. This time I'll give them a longer chance to germinate. ~Jeri :0)
I'm trying to grow husk cherries and giant cape gooseberries they seem to take a while to germinate. I almost gave up on them then lo one day up came the tiny sprouts.
Hey, I am also trying to promote my sons channel. His name is Daniel and he has been part of my channel for years and this year I decided to give him his own garden and a channel to work on as well. If you get the chance I would appreciate it if you'd go to his channel and see what he's up to and give him some encouraging comments and advice!

my tomatillos are long and crooked too!! I thought it was due to them reaching for light but maybe its just their growth habit???
