In the Status Bar Show Message without timeout:

ui->statusBar->showMessage("He­llo World");

Disappear with another mouse action where the Status Bar is calling even when in this action the message doesnt exist...

In your example, disappear when you move the mouse over the word "File"..

at least in WXP...
