  • very nice !

  • They need to start making larger Edge aquariums. 55 Edge!

  • @Garymayo haha! thats nuts... but AWESOME!

  • Always some fish guy quick to give advice about a tank. The Edge tanks are a lot of fun for a small tank. I have a 220, two 180, and several smaller tanks, but I love the look of the Edge.

  • @Garymayo totally... my tank does awesome. but theres always some dick, not necessarily even on youtube, that has something to say about what is wrong.

  • really nice! I find thse tanks so easy to maintain and the fish do fantastic in them. I've got 3 tetras, 3 pink danios and 3 guppies (temporarily) Im having a harder time with the edge 2...haven't got it cycled yet.

  • Very cool

  • @jakeny8 just because the fish are fine doesn't mean they're happy.

  • wow damn man you have really grate

  • Letting the tank sit for a week is not cycling. Google fishless cycling. To cycle an aquarium you have to be very careful to make sure that beneficial bacteria convert nitrogenous waste faster than your fish produce it. You'll have to do a fish-in cycle now because yo have fish. I recommend joining a forum like aquariumadvice. Then you can get better advice and be sure that the tank is cycled.

  • @iGeekAquariums who cares. So what, I used a term incorrect. The fish were fine, and as you can see this video is over a year old and the tank is doing fine.

  • @sparkomega

Oh, if it is over a year old, it is definitely cycled. Your tank looks great. :) Keep it up

  • @sparkomega but they are right.

  • @iGeekAquariums bsssssssssss, igeekaquarium doesn't know anything about fish tanks to make such a statement. Guess what? I had a 55 gallon tank moved all the gravel over to a brand new 75 gallon aquarium. filled it up with 25% of the water from the 55 and all the rest new water, used some cycled filter media. 500 dollars worth of rainbow fish and guess what? everything was fine! and still is fine and will always be fine.

  • @jakeny7

I know that the tank needs to be cycled. I am not surprised that your 55 was fine... you did indeed cycle it by transferring the bio media (also know as "seeding" or instant cycle) I do know a lot about fish tanks. I was just making sure that the person who uploaded this was aware... No need to post hating comments. What kind of rainbows do you have?

  • the filter nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • I have a white limited addition tank like this and trust me it was one of the worst decisions I have ever made when buying a tank. You only have a small square at the top to work in, Cleaning out doesn't even bare thinking about. Looks good but not practical. Just after 1 month of having this tank I went out to buy a new one. Sorry but this tank has the thumbs down for me.

  • these tanks are really cool looking i want one!!

  • woah, your tank is cool!

  • what camera are you using?

  • @AnsemRush If I remember correctly it was just a regular Canon ELPH, in video mode. Nothing special

  • AMAZING dear parents nice tank

  • i can never seem to get all the tiny bubbles at the top off ;( got any tips? Lovely tank by the way

  • @b00mboy123 Thanks.... I actually just keep a magnet scrubber in there at all times, pushed back in the corner on the top. and every once in a while I'll just scrub it around real quick. Usually works for awhile. Also. Make sure you top of your water level all the time. It should be about to over flow. I have to fill mine every few days.

  • Great job decorating the tank. I am going to purchase one too for my betta and will add some neons in there too. You should add a betta too! Will make a great center piece fish. Plus they get along with neons.

  • @dnmukhra Betta's breath air though, I don't know if that would be a good idea since most of the top is covered.

  • do you need a heater for the tetra's?

  • @OscarsGuitarChannel I'm in AZ and the house stays pretty warm during the summer so only needed one once it got colder. So I'm using one now.

  • are those live plants? I want my EDGE to look IDENTICAL to yours haha. Im going to petco over the next few weeks to slowly buy what i need and save up for the tank

  • @mrbschildt i bought mine for 70 quid on amazon it was the orange tank like but i just sprayed it black best to go on tha site instead o pin ovr 100 for it

  • @mrbschildt Yea they are all live plants. I'll probably upload a new video here soon. Some of the plants have died, some have grown great. I'm very happy with how the tank has done since I set it up.
