  • Sensação intangível

  • for all the people that said he has no feeling. how does it feel to be an idiot hahaha!!

  • the only guy who can make a electric guitar sound good with an orchestra live!! fuck me i want the guys hands!

  • @kenco124 Moody Blues doesn't exactly sound bad either.

  • @Partyreptilian blues coes from classic music!! learn history first

  • @erkjan WTF are you talking about ? I was replying to "the only guy who can make a electric guitar sound good with an orchestra live!!" I was pointing out Moody Blues( a band in case you didn't know, not a type of music) sounds good with an orchestra live, and also play electric guitars with them. What the hell does Blues coming from classical music (which I am WELL aware of ) have anything at all to do with what I was saying in the first place?

  • I'd like to see Yngwie and Yo-Yo Ma do a number.. watch them both tear it up.

  • great upload!! cheers and many thanks

  • also Malmsteen know that asians are pro!!! lol

  • @caandca lol they needed a hundred asians and a douzend of diffrent instruments to stand a chance against malmsteen.

  • wow. scratchy at the start but fuck........that was impressive.

  • omfg

  • Guitar god Malmsteen @ his best as always....None can compare none would even dare.

  • @Tangaloa1 Loomis. just IMO loomis takes guitar to another level. He did take A LOT from Yngwie though.

  • @AnOddMusician Then there are Rusty Cooley and Petrucci after Loomis :P

  • Questa musica è una vera droga, Malmsteen è semplicemente un fenomeno !!

  • Копнеж! Изгарящо желание! Мъка и радост!

  • Mamsteen + Yellow People = Awesomeness!

  • @MyDraco19 racist to call em yellow ppl

  • @DuDe1040 and some how it aint racist to call blacks blacks and whites and whites? dumbass.

  • so freaken beautiful!!

  • have you ever seen an Isaac Newton imagen?

  • By Vaughan Williams, isn't it?

  • Malmsteen needs to turn his ass down.

  • Bit arrogant how he's not able to see the conductor. Standing crowd-side of him like he's an orchestra of his own. *flame suit on*

  • @jigmesam it's not arrogance, the maestro is following his lead in order for the orchestra to play at his pace.

  • @jigmesam No hes standing there to be seen like any other classical soloist would and oh yeah his monitors are placed there so it would be an idea to stand there :L (monitor is the technical word for the big black boxes infront of him on the floor if you didn't know" Don't put Malmsteen down !!! :L

  • I do love this, it is quite extraordinary

  • He does good shit, but he doesn't seem to evolve at all as a musician. He tends to lock himself into his usual scales and arpeggios. While it's unmistakably Yngwie, it does get old. I wish he would work with other genres a bit, because I'm sure he could do some great tings in another musical context.

  • @CyValkarion

Rock nd Roll is an inner brutal Revolution, and it seems that Yngwie has found what he was looking for.

All he is doing now is looking 4 some comfort at Classical Music.Next stop? A pension, and flirting with good/bad old memories.Mother Nature at work.

    However,He was/is a Genuine Brilliant Artist

  • @CyValkarion I don't really think he needs to do any more stuff. I think the compositions he's given us so far are brilliant. And those scales and arpeggios are his style, there's nothing to evolve in to. He does what he wants and he's perfect at it.

  • @tompascoew That's very true. He set out and accomplished what he wanted to, and did so masterfully.

  • 22 people died after watching this vid and clicked thumb down by error

  • 22 people who watched this and gave it the thumbs down are extremely gay and not in a happy way :p

  • @serioussi How was extremely gay ever in a happy way? :)

  • Dont talk of things you know nothing of.Yngvie is an absolute virtuoso by anyones standards. No mistakes(not one) should have been the first hint.Practising 5 hours a day and scalloping his own necks using a painstaking method developed by stratavarious of 8 different files.Oh yeah, and transposing Pagganini to guitar. This aint phony, its earned.

  • I guess it's just the sound quality, it sounds like there is annoying dying animal in the way of a beautiful string orchestration...But it's probably just me

  • Unplug it dude. Unplug it !

  • 1:46 Oh my god. Who said he was playing without emotion ? Retards.

  • 0:05 brr lol

  • What the fuck type of train wreck is this? lol

    Fail!

  • @riethc trolololololololo

  • he studied it but was mostly self taught. No one told him about technique. He's all natural man

  • it took 5 seconds for him to fuck himself

  • 0:56 - 1:24 Demon Driver slow down? :-)

  • I think the only thing Electric guitar lacks (coming from both a prog/power metal guitarist as well as classical guitarist) is that it lacks dynamic range a lot when it comes to volume changes, e.g; cresendos, pp's to ff's, etc. It's a shame because there are so many times in this performance where you can hear dynamics within the volume of bthe guitar would have made it sound a lot better. I still love this whole album/performance, but that's my input, from an Yngwie fan :)

  • @ProgressiveGuitarist That's mostly with picked guitar. If you listen to live dire straits music, wherein mark knopfler uses fingerpicking for his guitar performance, you can hear the insane dynamics that you can create in that way.

  • @mattv888 Amen.

  • @ProgressiveGuitarist Actually, that's usually only the people who turn their distortion up to 10 , and might even add compression etc ^^ . It lowers the dynamic range :P It's the nature of distortion ^^

  • @ProgressiveGuitarist aren't there pedals to emulate those volume changes? Oo (i thaught i saw a couple of vol. pedals in a music store in my city).. xD it's either that or it's another argentinian invention LOL

    yngwie.. guitar god.. always...!

    saludos desde argentina

  • i didn't knew God could play guitar that great

  • HOLY EARGASM!

  • Right now thinking about improving technique and speed, so that i could play this amazing malmsteen songs!

  • @ovi1987 Right in the very beginning. The screw up is 5 seconds in. That little "bonk" sound was him picking a string he wasn't suppose to.

  • I respect the technique, but this man does not feel the guitar at all!

  • Comment removed

  • Guitars are Ftl. I am Ftw. nuff said

  • Yngwie looks like a pirate :)

  • hes a bit out of time in some parts though, but awesome guitarrist

  • 0:05 Fail...

  • He just seems to play the basic melody, then randomly goes up or down scales really quickly during rests and returns to the basic melody line. kind of kills it

  • His guitar doesn't sound like this on his record..

The quality of the sound is one way worst..!

  • I only got two minutes in before this made me sick. This music has to be a sick joke. Technique? Woohoo, guy can play fast. Dynamics? In those two minutes I heard what sounded like fortissimo to forte. That's shitty contrast. I could barely hear the orchestra behind him, his tone as well as volume overpower the entire orchestra. He is NOT a classical guitarist. He is a heavy metal guitarist with too much time on his hands and decides to play "classical" music. Thank god he's long gone.

  • @Arcadeburner1 He's not long gone, he's very much alive and still going, and long may it continue.

  • i imagine count Dracula wakes up to this in the mourning

  • @MrGrimmGoretastic ... in the night beacause in the mourning he could die

  • @gaderius toushay

  • @MrGrimmGoretastic i thought vampires dont get up in the morning. doesn't the sun kill them?

  • @jimmyshitbags well see i dont know about you but when you wake up a 9 at night like me , that becomes your mourning, mourning is the time you wake up, doesnt mean it has to be dawn, outside to enjoy breakfast.

  • @MrGrimmGoretastic i stand corrected.

  • like it or not malmsteen and jason becker are the best clasical guitarists.and still maybe among the best.i have to say that they sound allot more intresting then a rusty cooley or guthrie govan,i try to like the newer bob ross alike guitarist but do they sound boring.

  • who composed this? did yngwie?

  • @ludwighex Yes, he wrote all the songs played at this concert I believe.

  • 1:47 Yngwie looks like he smoked a fat ass blunt. Any man with talent like that desires to dress up as a pirate anyday

  • @MrRawtongue ...No Yngwie just does things with style the way he does them...I commend him for not comin out in a pair of jeans and some grungy shirt....the people pay good money to come and see him and he gives them a show tuh see...he is actually dressing similar to the time of the music hes so perfectly playing....very stylish and larger than life...just like his talent!!!!!!!

  • @MrRawtongue What's hilarious is that without reading your comment I told my friend the exact same thing! This is crazy!

  • 23 people didn't have flash enabled preventing them from watching this video.... Or 23 people have mommy and daddy issues. Simple. The FBI should arrest the 23 people that clicked dislike. LOL I am only joking ;)

  • hahaha I fucking love it.

  • ja, :P se equivoco :P

    np

  • ingwye is the better guitarrist on the world...

  • @raphaeljesussr2 and you're the WORST writer in it =D. Just kiddin... what you meant was "he is the BEST guitarist in the world"... and I would agree with that, he is pretty much unique.

  • @Gollokay thanks...

    XD...

(but he´s the best guitarrist in world...and this is a fact...)

  • a cure for the pox ? nope, bill and ted rock on !

  • great talent, but this is boring. i would rather see a kid playing sanitarium than watching this.

  • @ivicakostelic1 this is classic music,if you don't like it it doesn't mean that the song is boring... it means that you can't understand it...

  • One of the last true musicians in my eyes.

  • I mean just look at the guy - leave the playing (which we all know was taught him by the devil in prison).

Just LOOK at the guy - look at his balls of steel - to think he could stand there dressed like that in front of one of the world's best orchestras and do this shit!

Dude looks like a million bucks - all class from head to toe!

    Long live Malmsteen!

  • Asian only imitate their speed

  • Yngwie is another personality of Chuck Norris.

  • In A word... Awesome!!!

  • esta musica fue echa para darnos cuenta que ya nos cargo la chingada :O

    pero que chida xd

  • el es chuk norris disfrasado jaajajaj xD

  • 16 PEOPLE THINK THEY CAN DO BETTER.

  • so how bout that tempo keeping

  • I don't think that is impressive how fast he plays, many others can play as fast as he can... the impressive part is the composition and the kind of music he can make with the guitar

  • @Scaar81 and his feeling.

  • @Scaar81 i mean he took classical (classical guitarist are already freakin monsterous to beging with) and took it to a whole other level on electric by creating neo classical and plays amazing music

and most people who obsess over all the overrated mainstream artist say he doesnt play with feel because it isnt bluesy what shit people are

  • @Scaar81 im a bluesman myself but i really like yngwie and jason becker to cause they took that speed which alot of people has and made it their own

  • @Scaar81 the most impressive thing bout his technique is that he can play so incredibly cleanly and with such great tone and dynamics even though he plays ridiculously fast

  • @Scaar81 exacly! That is a point of Ygnwie's awssomess :)

  • @Scaar81 Totally true. His music is a mix of classical and shred.

  • @Scaar81

Yo, you got that backwards. If anything gives malmsteem an edge its speed. Compositions that are more sophisticated music theory wise are written by others such as Stephan forte, Jeff Loomis, or even the very own Jason Becker.

  • @Scaar81 He is the fastest SOB in rock, not even Petrucci is as fast as the fat Yngwie, of course, at this concerto he plays whithin the orchesta a whole composition, but playing in other circunstances he fuck'n blow minds. Greetings

  • @Scaar81 He's also a freak of nature. Watch his picking hand... That shits unnatural. It hardly moves at all. No effort what so ever. No one else can do that

  • @sprinkler5802 yngwie studied classical guitar , where he was taught the so-called principle of the efortless power.

  • @Scaar81 aboslutely

  • @Scaar81 Shredding is a technique. He gets major credit for taking music he loves and grew up with and giving it a modern twist (Electric Guitar) All you fucking idiots bitching about how fast he plays;are fucking retarded for missing the point.

  • @LufielIsacariot that's what i'm saying... but you cant call retard to guitar noobs and that sadfXD

  • @Scaar81 also his technique there are very rare people who can play like he does, his fingers barely lift from his fretboard, he does it just enough to hit the next note thats insane as opposed to jeff loomis who's fingers fly,

  • @Scaar81 What's great about Malmsteen, is there are faster players out there, but they don't....really....sound like anything, ya know. They are just a blurr, as if they had a machine play guitar for them at impossible speeds. With Malmsteen, I can certainly relate to his style of playing, Baroque, not Classical for any of you illiterate twits, in the fact that his scales are perfect for building musical tension. Some people stay in the same position for an entire solo, Malmsteen doesn't.

  • @kinkyjew672 yeh or their just playing so fast you cant hear the change and it sounds like one long ass note

  • Richard Benson is better than Malmsteen.

In fact he is his teacher.

  • 0:05 gods make mistakes???

  • @starhawks1 When the level of distorsion is so big , when you release the string , it has to be PERFECT his release was scatchy.. , it's not really a mistake .

  • @Flakevee indeed, but he managed to not make that sound in the rest of the song, so my point remains valid

  • @starhawks1 haha i'd wish to have only mistakes like this . Indeed , such a tiny thing ,that doesn't occur again , might be considered " a mistake " for Mr .malmsteen

  • no se que gana metiendole velocidad a un andante...

el andante lo que necesita es sentimiento y linda melodia

la melodia se la puede llegar a dar pero es fuera

de el darle sentimiento a una cancion es todo rapido y cuadrado

  • I give up. I'll never play this good.

  • @Beaverhead100 At first, I saw it the same way, but after I watched Yngwie for a while, I said, "man, look how his hard work paid off", and now I can play much better than before. I can even play Trilogy Suite, and most of Rising Force, both Yngwie songs. Don't get down man, just keep practicing and dreaming of the day it will all pay off... :-)

  • shadowknight132- Someone else "Mats Olausson" scored the orchestral parts. Yngwie wrote and arranged all the orchestral parts on the guitar and Olausson put them into manuscript form for him. I would like to hear the original demo's with the guitar orchestra parts.

  • Arghhhh I love the Pirate Yngwie!

  • @gunnerslash that is actually a baroque dress^^

  • 0:5 he fucks the song

    la caga

  • Who's classical composer was this song originally??

    Does anybody kno0w??

  • @makaronia77 Yngwie Malmsteen composed this and every other song on the concerto album.

  • @Stratonini

Not entirely. Someone else composed the music played by the orchestra.

  • @shadowknight132 Wrong. YJM composed it all. He had Derek Sherinian (sp?) Score it out for him. Every instruments part was composed by YJM.

  • @shadowknight132 Yngwie composed it all, but the orchestral parts were transcribed by David Rosenthal. Big difference.

  • oh look, he's not fat here!

  • @SalemJeanetteful yeah he is he just tucks it well

  • I love when he plays this musical track!

  • On September 18,1970 7 Year old Yngwie picked up the Guitar and he hasn't looked back since.

  • AWESOME

  • sorry the mistake is at 0:03

  • uuuuuuuuuuuuuu a little mistake 0:05

  • Why is he dressed like a community theater pirate?

  • @machmir1

I think it's because he give here high classic music !! If he would wear his normal clothes I think it would look a little bit funny ^^ but to me I think it looks great !!

  • @machmir1 ikr but thast what makes him awsome

  • Comment removed

  • waaaw that's what we call a artist and a virtuoso

  • whoy is paganini??????????

  • @ritchie831 a classical composer n violin virtuoso... look him up, i love his works, both listening n playing ^^

  • Why so many Yngwie haters? If he bothers you that damn much, don't watch...don't listen, walk the other way. Yngwie rocks.......so much heart. Arrogant? Of course, most of us accept that.

  • The orchestration is 300 years out of date, and had it been written in the time when it was relevant, it still would have been recognized as uninspired and pedestrian. Due also to this 'musicians' wildly swollen ego, whatever qualities this arrangement may have possessed are annihilated by the over-amplified assault of the soloist. Had i been in the orchestra, I would be asking myself if all the years of hard work and dedication were worth it.

  • @1enzeder Yet with all of these supposed flaws, I still find myself enjoying his compositions. I guess that just goes to show that you don't have to be Mozart to make enjoyable music.

  • @ovi1987 at 0:06 he hits the wrong string. . .

  • Such an amazing guitar player. . . and he screws up such a simple thing right in the beginning. I actually own the DVD I just had to show a buddy of mine because it is hilarious. . . fails like a twat indeed. lol

  • @killridemaster what was the screwup? i did not get that.

  • I don't know how people can't see the beauty at Malmsteen's compositions. Harmony, melodies, technique, everything that a guitar player needs is there.

  • 0.06 - fails like a twat.

  • @stitcha123 LOL true true

  • 1:36 to 2:25 is so nice! you can hear the soul of his guitar!

  • 0.06.

  • All the arguments over Yngwie's practice time as a kid an talent an stuff. To be honest people. Either u got it or u aint. An this guy has it ;)

  • este tipo es un genio.el mejor velocista de todos los tiempos

  • C`EST MAGNIFIQUE!!!

  • i don't understand how he got away with being out of tempo so much!

  • @thefid89 Can't complain when your face is melting.

  • the "out of tempo" parts are just odd subdivions of notes he uses groups of 5's sometimes instead of triplets...also getting sweeps even in a mid tempo like this is difficult

  • is beatifull ... :P

  • he probably came out of his moms vag playing a strat

  • That dude looks fucking genius!!!!

  • tapping?

  • Awesome technique!

  • Yngwie,you're my God.

  • 0:57 OMG!! Beautiful!!!

  • at 0:06 he misses wtf :S:S:S

  • @TheArmin666 lol true that guess no one else noticed it lol

  • Ugly is as ugly does, cat man. Don't you have a litter box to clean?

  • such a beautifull vibrato

  • beautiful ending...

  • Oh shit its the first time i ever heard yngwie mess up. 0:06

  • I loved this piece so very much, i had shivers up my spine when Yngwie bent up to the Highest E at 4.22 and back to E flat... Sublime.

  • So sad he's an ugly fucker, image his greatness with a little beauty to all that talent

Snyggt jobbat Yngwie, ses i LA :D

  • @vo1dvempire Are you gay? I'm not insulting you; I'm just wondering why you care about how he looks.
