  • Its worth more than any £100 mate. A new chassis and some TLC will bring this back to life. The body panels are very straight for a vehicle of that age. The interior is all there. the early county trim. Ask a main dealer how much those early doors would cost to get them now!!. its worth more than any £100. if you spent about £4000 - £ 5000 and some serious time, you would have a fantastic classic on your hands. Whoever bought it I would love to see it now.

  • I would just walk away from a rot box like that, it's worth about £100 scrap.

  • This will take you half an hour lol, Your funny guys!!! I missed out on a similar 90 although it wasa300 TDI, The guy wanted £500 for it, it was much more solid than this one, I did not know much about Land Rover at the time and told the guy I would thinkabout it, phoned him the next day and it was gone for £400, too bad,

  • It was my £20! along with the couple of grand so far it's cost for the galv chassis bulkhead and assortment of new bits. Range rovers are my thing, but my lad was nagging me for another defender, he's only 7 so I've got plenty of time before for his driving test ! Good job scrap values are up for the chassis and bulkhead

  • That is not normal under any circumstances, a Landy of that age will not naturally rust like that,it looks like it's been parked on the beach for the past 10 years of it's life. New chassis, front and rear bulkheads and alot of tlc will bring her back to life ;)

  • WOW! That's some nasty rust. Must've been owned by a lighthouse keeper! :D

  • Hi mate, been watching your videos for a few months now. I bought myself a 2000 x reg Discovery td5 in December. My local Landy bloke is going to pressure wash mine underneath let it dry and the take wheels off etc and schutz it everywhere underneath. Watching this video as given me the kick up the arse to book it in lol.

  • @mr2mr3 glad it's inspired you! go for Waxoyl instead of the Schutz, it's a lot better

  • @cuda2266 I hope you have done your Range on that video were it tipped in the air nose down it looked nearly as bad as this one in this video underneath lol.

  • Holy shit, that thing was rotten. It's a damn shame though, those 90's are so beautiful in their simplicity. I hope whoever bought it will restore her. Frank, was that a low compression 3.5L V8? I'll have to ask Jason if he knows anything about that particular engine.

  • @mgospeed31 Hi Aaron, i think this is the same engine as fitted to the early RRC, low compression, restrictors in the inlets & air injection, but still a powerful enough engine for the chassis (when new!)

  • @cuda2266 When you put it into low range, that's all the power you could ever want! By the way, I really like the fade from the picture to the actual truck, that was a good touch!

  • @mgospeed31 Thanks! Aaron, do you ever come across Land Rovers as corroded in your part of the world?

  • @cuda2266 The only ones I've seen this bad are some of the two door rangies that Jason owns. Most of those are parts trucks anyway.

  • shame you lost by 20 squid, got an ebay tip for ya, just watch the auction and don't bid that way it keeps the price down then on the last 10 seconds if its still in your price range place your bid and comfirm it real quick, works for me, bring back flappits, your videos are the best
