Great juicer but the micro filter get's blocked and its hard to get clean ,Even after putting it in the Dishwasher it don't get it clean and needs to be cleaned by hand which is a shame ,And its kind of made me feel like i wish i had picked another model now :( .Don't get me wrong it does amazing job on juicing ,its just the filter that's the pain all the small holes get blocked up .I may get on to Philips about this problem see what they have to say about it .
I was thinking ot buy a juicer myself. Anyone got a tip on a good one for a ok price. Not to expensive but not to cheap want to see it as an investment.
2) Intend to start today and I am very intrigued and excited of the prospects from this and all the health benefits!!! Anyway, thanks for the vid I just subscribed and will enjoy watching more and more of your vids for some good ideas. Hope you all have success with your juicers ;-) Peace.
1) I allmost bought this juicer, I was contemplating for days n days whether or not to buy this one or the Breville JE15, both had very good overall ratings in terms of the price and what you get for your money performance wise and otherwise. In the end I got the breville because it is more powerful and supposedly handels a greater variaty of things ( debatable maybe ) and I ended up getting a good Christmas deal on another site of £75 including postage. I haven'tused it yet (2 days) I intend...
I just bought this juicer , 25 discount and the free shipping breville800jexljuicefountainelitex com.You save 100$. I looked at the Jack LaLanne, but the motor is 3x's less powerful and it isn't as well made. is the best one yet! easy to clean but If you don't keep it clean, some of the juice will flow into the pulp catching bin. All you have to do is just make sure the screen is very clean after each use.
@mattpulham Ah I see, I will do that Indeed, also one more question if you dont mind mate. Do you still use it? Does it still work or did it break or something like that? I am getting mine today so quite curious, but so far ive only heard good things about it.
You don't need to peel stuff dude... the best nutrients are often in the skin. Philips have made a wide chute juicer and just throw things in. You wasting a lot of nutrients.
@nanooki Hi, thought I'd add to your comment; you're perfectly correct about not peeling but recently learned that if the fruit and vegetables are not organic, it probably is necessary to peel them.
You really don't need to peel everything. A good wash will do and then bung it in. Even fruits like lemons and oranges don't need peeling - just chuck it all in. This juicer handles it all amazingly well.
Is it orange what you put inside ? I really love oranges as base of my juices, but what would be the best way to put them inside, just peel off the outside shell? Thx :)
still using this juicer daily, easy to clean, good for carrot and celery juice . i also juice herbs and leafy material but have found that with these to get the most juice out you have to juice them a few times with some apples. Beetroot juice is potent stuff!

Good idea for a juice but there's a lot of sugar in carrot juice so I don't use so many.

@TheAfternoonclub I've got the same juicer as in this video; Philips HR1861. Fantastic. I see it as an investment, as well. So recommended.

how easy is it to clean?
mQtek 11 months ago 3
@mQtek its ok , the trick is to have bowl of water ready and dunk the parts in straight away, its a bugger to clean when pulp dries on to it
