@RiceKittyBun I was told by one of the ladies at my local MAC counter to use paint pots because those tend to be thicker but it may just have tobe a trial and error type of thing. I hope that helps a lil bit
All your videos are extremely informative and I've learned ALOT! If you would pull your hair back away from your face while you're giving the tutorials, that would be more beneficial. Constantly tucking it behind the ears where it always falls again is distracting and causes shadows on your cheeks and eyes and makes it more difficult to see the color variations that you create. @rosalint if ur eyes are not sensitive u can use a gel eyeliner or u can use a q tip/cotton bud to make your water line dry, like just swipe the q tip on ur waterline to get rid of excess water , then heat up ur eyeliner for a couple of seconds with a lighter or hair dryer and then apply it, if u dont wana heat up the eyeliner you can just apply two coats of the eyeliner waiting for it to dry in between, hope this helps!

for your lids, try putting on primer before you even start your face! I have verry oily lids. Put the primer on, then concealer, then foundation, then powder. It will like, SUPER SET your lids. Then apply your everything else. Also, for lower lash line, try Wet n' Wild Gel Eyeliner! IT IS SO AMAZING. its the only thing good that wet n' wild ever made.
@KelseyBaby00 actually wet n wild makes amazing products. i've compared their liquid liner to urban decay's liquid liner and it's the same quality. their eyeshadows are the most pigmented in drugstore shadows and they rival mac. their tinted moisturizer is also really good.
their gel eyeliners are great and their liquid is okay too but for everything else, yeah no. I think ELF makes better products than wet n' wild and everything by elf is completely cheaper.
wait i use like liquid eye liner and its suppose to be like waterproof and smear-free but i dont want it to look lighter. what if i put eye shadow underneath?? would that help like at all?? because i really dont like seeing black stuff underneath my eyes after school or during school! helpp!
@xoluisa1013 i get the same problem! using powder underneath may help a little bit by itself but if you use a primer underneath the eyeshadow as well it should really make it stay on longer.hope it helps xx

Okay so I live in Arizona.. in the summer its 100plus degree.. when I put foundation on.. with a primer but when I sweat everything is gone.. Eyes, face, lips .. then I look super red.. What should I be using.. I use urban eye primer Laura Geller lip and BE face primer...

@alice86rfe I have tried mac paint pots, they work well for me, but nowhere near as well as urban decay primer potion! they are very different things. If shadow insurance isn't working, im not sure whether primer potion will... It is like the slightly better version? i'm not sure. I hope you can find an urban decay stall somewhere! one of my fave brands!

The silly thing is that we have Sephora in Greece who sell some "Too Faced" products but they don't have the too faced shadow insurance. Was shocked to hear that you would never recommend putting powder under eye area! A makeup forever artist recommended me their concealer for under eyes and a powder to go over it. Now I'm glad I didn't buy the powder!
Tiffany, I've recently read that orange corrector under your concealer is helping you hide dark circles very well. I've seen NYX and Laura Mercier have orange concealers but I'm kinda affraid to try it cos they really look very bright. I am NC20 for refference. What do you think, should I go for one of them?

@bambamrouge I haven't tried either of those, but I use the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer and it's AMAZING. It's creamy, blendable and buildable. I hope this helps :)

@DogeKhan vaseline is probably the worst thing u can use on a dry skin or any skin because you think it makes your skin hydrated but it actually dries out your skin more so I´d suggest getting a good face cream

well vaseline is very addictive for your skin, if u stop using it your skin will basically have withdrawal syptoms,.
plus it closes of the skin and doesnt let the skin breath, which is very important. I suggest you´d ask for a professionals opinion because Im not an expert in any way!

@cinthiabr1 Many use paintpots as a primer/base, yes. They are more dry than a typical cream shadow, so they tend to reduce creasing, while enhancing your eye shadow pigment.
You didn't mention a face primer. I jave super oily acne prone skin and the smashbox photofinish in light made my makeup last 8 hours for anyone who goes to school it is a life saver. xoxo (:

Well, thanks for your input. But, sad to say I do use a primer it works well to prevent creasing on the lid, but not the corners.
hmm, can't get wet and wild gel liner here, which drugstore webbie has it?? maybe I'll get it whenever I join a spree for it.

when i use mac blacktrack fluidline (get liner) it last ALL FREAKING DAY . so i REALLY recommend it guys, doing these steps of layering stuff on eyeliner is so annoying..

w8,im confused.ok fair enough dat makeup on oily skin n even dry skin would melt during summer,dats y u nd a primer,bt i always thot dat makeup on dry skin lasts shorter than dose w oily skin cz d skin absorbs d makeup? my skin jus ends up lookin patchy no /flaky if i dnt put either vaseline o sme kinda facial oil b4 foundation.help anyone? ? pls. thxx

@DogeKhan vaseline is probably the worst thing u can use on a dry skin or any skin because you think it makes your skin hydrated but it actually dries out your skin more so I´d suggest getting a good face cream

well vaseline is very addictive for your skin, if u stop using it your skin will basically have withdrawal syptoms,.
plus it closes of the skin and doesnt let the skin breath, which is very important. I suggest you´d ask for a professionals opinion because Im not an expert in any way!

Thank you so much for the eyeliner tips. Even though I'm 25, I've only just started wearing make-up for work and nothing I do has made my eyeliner stay! My lids get really oily and then the eyeliner just flakes/slides right off. :( I'll try your tips and see if they work! :D

i like putting water on an angle brush and mixing it wiith a NYX black eyeshadow.to line my eyes and it lasts way better than any eyeliner i have tried.

@cinthiabr1 Many use paintpots as a primer/base, yes. They are more dry than a typical cream shadow, so they tend to reduce creasing, while enhancing your eye shadow pigment.

You didn't mention a face primer. I jave super oily acne prone skin and the smashbox photofinish in light made my makeup last 8 hours for anyone who goes to school it is a life saver. xoxo (:

I have a question, I cant afford too many mac products but I try to buy some of the important basics. I have the PenUltimate liner and a black mac powder eyeshadow, I notice that even when I do the techniqe that you showed it stays in place.. but the COLOR wont stay at all. it turns grey. do you know why? is there anything else I can do? =) great videos thank you I just subscribed
