  • Haha this dude is awesome and the tigger costume is dope :) Love the vidz dude keep 'em comin, couldn't agree more bout metronomes. Neva really used mine that much but ya bring up valid pointz that hav convinced me to use it. It should help me bring my fillz from shitty to very tight

  • i love metronomes !!

  • Haha broken stick part made me laugh

  • how would this work for live performances if the songs start of with a guitar instead of the drums?

  • damn that sucks you paid money for one of these. I got one on my iphone for free that has way more options

  • i have that same exact 1,

  • theres an app for that

  • $15 lol i got one on my phone it has 2 diff types aswell on that clicks and on that swiches to 1-2 etc

  • I destroyed my metronome, i turned it on once and never found out how to turn it off

  • I've been playing for 2 years. And believe it or not, this helped me. Now, TO GUITAR CENTER!

  • amen

  • If it weren't for your awesome Tigger costume I'd be long gone! Good way to keep my attention :)

  • I love playing along to a click. Sooo fun!

  • 0 dislikes? RIGHT ON!

  • haha i have the same metronome

  • God, I hate those things. I use mine with head phones to hear it over my drums because I tend to get off beat with fills. I have to shut if off after a little or it WILL drive me mad.

  • Haha the beep is mainly for guitarists. It's an A note to tune by.

  • if by guitarists, you mean any instrument, then yeah.

  • BEEEEEEEP = A 440 (for tuning).

Yeah, 'nomes are so good for your brain... SO GOOD. And cheap too.

  • for tuning what?

  • oh nevermind i see.

  • i have that metronome!!

  • me too!

  • just a note; the beep in the beginning was (probably) a tuner, an A in 440hz. musicians who play instrument that handles tones (such as guitars) use it to get thier instrument in tune.

  • haha, i like how do a chipmunk laugh out of nowhere.

  • To all my fellow drummers, practice to make yourself a mean rhythm machine!! and listen to tigger!! he knows whats up!

  • A human can't keep time with a metranome forever. Is that why songs are 3 minutes? lol.

What kind is that? I got the one that goes in your ear called the metragnome by korg.

  • Hey, got a question and hope you can answer it.

In songs the rhytm change, like slower or faster, so how do you do then ? Like, you start of at 100bpm, and then the rhytm changes to 200bpm, can you put in rhytm changes in metronomes so it goes faster ?

Hope you understand my crappy english,

  • Only the tempo or BPM's change in a song, not the notes/beats you play. It doesn't matter what tempo you play them at, the notes are still 4's/8's/16's. Hope this helps.

  • ugh? what? so what do you do w/ a tempo change? not only the tempo can change in a song, the feel and time signiture can also change.

  • I know what your saying, but a tempo change just means the bpm's have got slower or faster than they were before, the notes themselves have not changed. The feel or time signature they are in also doesn't affect the notes themselves. For example, if you are playing 16th notes in 4/4 and you change to 3/4, they are still 16th notes but the feel of the song changed. As I said, not the notes themselves. Hope this helped.

  • im well aware of all that, the time signiture has NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT IS PLAYED, but it has EVERYTHING TO DO W/ HOW IT IS PLAYED.

  • @Keggydrummer, its not for playing during songs, its for practice. You don't use it for playing songs or shows or whatever, you use it for practicing timee and technique.

  • @84Mtac matt greiner does and hes a god...

  • @84Mtac actually alot of bands play to a click but i get what ur sayin. cuz songs change time n time sigs n what not.

  • @ Keggydrummer:

Thats the beauty of editing my man!

  • since u mentioned headphones in this vid a question poped into my head.

HOW DO YOU PLAY DRUMS AND KEEP YOUR HEARING??

  • Buy some noise canceling headphones. Wear them when you drum. You can buy them at walmart or a similar store. Earplugs work too.

  • You can buy things that go over your ears, like headphones, to block out the sound. Given that you need the sound of the song and/or metronome as well I'd reccomend you buy a mixer to make the metronome and song you are practicing in to one sound and then play them in to a single pair of headphones.

  • hey bro get me a burger

  • I want a hamburger right now... it's too early in the morning here, and all the places are closed... and I'd really like to find a nice dollar menu somewhere... that or pizza...

  • haha.. i also want pizza : (

  • i agree pizza would be awesome....or hot chips

  • Hey i used to have that metranome but i didnt like the annoying clicking you should get the KORG MA-30 you can set it to do 16th notes and then the speed you want it to go at instead of BEEP BEEP... its more of a BEEP bum bum bum BEEP umm well idk this verry well but its cool cause you can do triplets and it has a visual guide so you know where you are in the music...its hard to explain when you dont know all your notes but...yea look it up itll help i love this thing tho

    BTW thanks ur awesome!

  • cool man, thanks for the advice! I'm actually cool with the clicking... but I might check some new ones out if I get the chance.

  • that noise is a note to tune your guitar :D

  • the high e?

  • no its A

  • Metronomes are MANDATORY. Period.

  • yep... agreed

  • @SlikkTim I am a metronome! Haha ya but seriously they help.

  • Really looking forward to the lesson where you show the best way to incorporate it into our playing.

I'm a beginner and don't really know how to use it the best way.

So hurry up with the video lesson :P

Great lessons, as always, keep on!

    :D

  • i have the exact same metronome. i have no idea what that blaring note thing is for...

  • It's an A-440 for tuning :)

  • Metronomes are cool... I like them =)

  • I do enjoy them too

  • Please check your Messages and look for mine...I did a request and I really hope you can help me!

    Thanks in advance!

  • cool man! I check my messages every day (unless I'm out of town)... so don't worry at all!

  • hey, what make is that and does it use headphones cos usually there not loud enough to hear over the drums

  • man, I'm not really sure... but headphones can generally help with that... especially studio headphones

  • First comment yay.

    I need one.

  • lol...
