practically all the girls in my class were giggly about how cute one of the guys were xD

anyway i reaallly wanna go there again, i mean the food was GREAT and it was just an amazing thing to watch...THE best trip ive beeen on so far

This is not an historically accurate reinactment. This is a dramatic presentation. The combat has to be choreographed for visual effect as well as to be seen by everyone in the arena. Call it dramatic license.

excuse my spelling..i do correographed fighting for a scottish reenactment group and our sword moves are way more intense and in your face than the long sweeping slashes these guys do. and our correography is based on real sword tecniques

what is really annoying is that the story of the show seems to never change, i have seen it twice in 2 different places and it's exactly the same (with the exception of a different champion), it's really time that they change the story up

Generally the show is changed every three years. The one before the current one is lasted longer because it was so well-received.
