I think Michael Shure is my favorite of the Hosts. He can carry himself in a more mature manner than Either Cenk or Ana not that I dont appreciate the Humor those two bring to the table.
I love all the Obama haters haha, White smiling men have fucked this country in the ass for generations . But now when they see a Black man in charge they start crying and bitching 'oh whoe is me' bullshit. Remember you Dumbfucks gave that racist retard two terms! Obama has to clean up all shit these clueless greedy corporate bank owned politicians have fucked up.
Paul's supporters don't think he'll push his personal views...even though he says he will and even though they insist they believe he's honest. Just another fun mystery regarding the minds of the Ron Paul disciple.
But hey, if you hate women, science, and the 20th century as much as you hate war, he's the candidate for you.
Although it shouldn't be the case, going after the youth vote is a bad political move. The elderly are overwhelmingly more likely to vote whereas the youth are far less likely to vote, and it's why median ages of voters usually end up in the 50s, which is far above average.
Elections can also be about diminishing crime, or inequality, because people can collectively choose to make their country a better place to live. Or about improving schools for the sake of bringing wisdom to people, instead of just for economic usefulness. Those things are idealistic because they have to do with values and ideals. Small government libertarianism is nihilistic.
The message of small government is not idealistic. American politics only seems to be about the degree to which the government should be used as a tool for making the business world thrive. The assumption that this is the only purpose government can serve is never even questioned. It's funny that, in a country so proud of the government's small role in the economy, there is an obsession with the economy in public discourse.
Ron Paul "wasn't a factor"? Paul got 26% of the vote (that alone clearly makes him a "factor"), Romney only won by 8 votes. You don't think that if Paul wasn't in the race, things could have possibly turned out differently? What if all Paul voters went for Gingrich instead? Or Santorum? Just sounds like wishful thinking to pretend that he "wasn't a factor".
So if the kids today don't have someone to be "excited about" they will just stay home. Typical children if there is no big budget hollywood production of bullshit to sell their simple minds of something they have no interest. Never before in or nations history have its youth been more lazy little sniveling bitches than they are now. complaining little bitches who don't understand the civic responsibility behind voting,
@stukajunker88 If Al Gore had gotten a couple extra hundred votes 12 years ago there would have been no George Bush to start a war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Elections mater.
@Numbuh7 You're a brainwashed fool if you think Ron Paul is far worse than Obama. It's definitely the other way around. You need to do some research. Every Obama supporter has no reason at all to support him. They just do. Ron Paul supporters, however, have many reasons to support Ron Paul.
@zshellmt Why will you not be voting for him? You're making no sense. If you can provide some good reasons, then that would make your decision reasonable, but there are NO reasons not to vote for him. He's the only honest and consistent candidate, so you would have to be a complete idiot to not vote for him. It's either that, or you actually want to destroy America. Don't listen to everything the media says about him. Vote for Ron Paul if you want to restore America to what it once was.
@nar3sas again a RP cultist showing why RP supporters are is worst enemy, you can only think in black and white and insult anybody who doesnt agree with you and think hes a savior/messiah.
As long as you have that attitude, expect people to tune you out.
@waltermh111 How am I a Ron Paul cultist, and how are people like me his worst enemies? I don't think in black and white, and I'm not insulting people. He IS the savior/messiah. He IS the one who's going to save America, and I have MANY reasons to see him as the ONLY candidate worth voting for! Watch these videos: /watch?v=5Aohgrn1peA, /watch?v=BI9yjhd8b84, /watch?v=eAaQNACwaLw, and /watch?v=ohKz9OeiI0g. People cannot tune me out. I am right, and Ron Paul WILL be elected! Count on it.
But yeah, I know why yall think how yall do, and its not your reasons for supporting him thats the problem, its your tactless obsessive cultist way of doing it thats the problem.
@waltermh111 I don't see why our way of supporting him is a problem. I'm sure that the supporters of the other candidates don't do it any better, and I'm sure that they do it worse. Our way of supporting him is more efficient because we actually have facts to back ourselves up, while the other supporters just support their respective candidates for no reason. They just support them blindly. If you watched the videos I gave you, you would know what I mean. Ron Paul is the only worthy candidate.
@nar3sas The problem is every freaken political thread of any subject that I go into are RP supporters who cant shut up about their savior for 1 video.
Then their preaching about this savior sickens me, and its the same no matter who does it, no matter what religion does it.
Then you say anything even slightly unperfect about RP, no matter how many times you compliment him before, your part of a conspiracy.
@waltermh111 RP supporters have no reason to shut up. We know that if Ron Paul isn't elected, America is basically screwed. The other supporters, however, see this election as just another one. That's why we feel the need to do what we do. If it sickens you, then there's a problem. You should be "preaching" about him too. People who don't support Ron Paul are either brainwashed or actually want America to be destroyed. The videos I gave you clearly provide facts, not theories and opinions.
@waltermh111 It's actually your loss. I don't know what you mean by not having to see a RP presidency. He IS going to be the president of the U.S. Also, are you saying you're still not going to vote for him despite the videos I gave you? We're not spamming, and it actually works in our favor. We're not preaching. We're providing facts. Ron Paul should be treated as a savior, and no other candidate deserves to be treated as such. Take it as spam if you want, but you should be doing it too.
@waltermh111 My second to last line is a fact, considering what I know and what you should know by now after having watched the videos I gave you. Ron Paul is the ONLY honest and consistent candidate who has been defending our Constitution from the time he started running. People who don't vote for him ARE brainwashed or want to destroy America. Look at the facts, and you'll see that it is true. You should be telling me that you're going to support him too, so I don't see why we're continuing.
Ron Paul doesn't want the federal government to tell you what you can or cannot do with your body! He's gonna leave it up to the states to take your right away.
@misterdirtyharry I hope that you're saying that you're for Ron Paul. There's no guarantee that everything will work out smoothly with him as President since the Illuminati don't want someone like him in that position, but it will be a lot better than having any of the other candidates as President.
@GoDrex thank you. our nation is too big for our govt to be limited to state govt. some states need federal assistance. and witout govt assuring us of our rights collectively as americans, what rights and security do we really have?
What's wacky about fiscal responsibility and making sure we don't run in the reds, keeping our financial obligations to social security, medicare/aid?.
The guy knows about economics, he predicted the collapses since the .com era.
Do you know what happens to countries that can't afford the interest on their federal debt?.
If our current system is 'normal' I would welcome wacky.
@bluesrockfan36 right.. bc im watching tyt bc i get my news form cable tv. Your a bright one huh? Ron paul wants to give power to the states. he wants to kill off the DOE EPA and the commerce commission. sorry might not be wacky but it is plain fucking stupid
TYT is a heavy liberal broadcast program, they're NOT journalists, they clearly say that.
So again, since all you can do is parrot, please tell me what do you disagree with him?.
He does not want to kill EPA, the DOE provides 8% of the funding to schools across the country and over 90% of the regulations. Teachers hate it, principals hate it, why do you wan't to keep it?. No child left behind is a disaster.
What does the Department of Commerce even do, do you know?.
We're 15 trillion dollars in debt, even if we cut all our militarism around the world we still wouldn't have a balanced budget.
We have 67 trillion dollar entitlement obligations (> GDP of the world). Meaning, if we don't do these cuts we wont be able to pay social security, medicare/aid.
So what would you rather do?, end the most ineffective bureaucracies within our cabinet level government, or save our safety nets, and health care for the poor?.
@bluesrockfan36 so what.. where were you during the bush years? very body acts like we just got this debt and it hasnt been around all our lives... there is a lot of waste full spending. Plus the tax for making money over seas has gone down to 5%.. its all bull shit... raise taxes high on everything imported.. lower tax on everything exported.. turn American Industry back on.. everything we need can be made here at home. Cut Government pensions, etc
I'm not a republican, I'm an independent, and during the Bush years I was majorly pissed. But let's get facts right, Bush added 4 trillion dollars to our debt in 8 years, Obama did so in just 2,5 years.
I'm against the Bush tax cuts, but what you don't seem to understand is, even if we taxed the shit out of everyone, we wouldn't be able to finance our current systems. We run around 1.2-1.7 trillion dollar deficits each year.
However on corporations I disagree with you a bit. They're going overseas because we already have the highest corporate tax in the world. We're simply not competitive.
If you tax making money over seas, that would not accomplish corporations to stop making overseas money, but actually for them to leave at a higher rate. We don't *own* corporations as a country. And corporations always go the most profitable way.
Raising import tariffs is a bit dangerous given our current situation.
Specially since some states rely completely on imports to survive (i.e Hawaii). But I agree, raising tariffs is much better than raising taxes on the middle class.
We cannot however get industry back, when we have this enviromentalist mentality that *any* pollution is bad. Seriously, the EPA is trying to regulate dust on Arizona, by suggesting they 'water down' the soil... in a desert.
@bluesrockfan36 we send our batteries to mexico, we store Nuclear waste on our own soil. and we dumb pure shit and toxins into our water systems. and last time i check pollution is bad. Civilians really make me sick, always thinking of themselves.
If you really want to stop pollution, stop subsidizing and fighting wars to protect our oil interests. Give renwal energy production an equal footing in our markets.
The EPA is filled with stupid, illogical and insensitive regulations.
Not sure about you, but I can't live as an Amish.
Their smog rules are just stupid.
Regulating dust on a desert and farms, really?.
What do we get if we insist on regulating?. Companies manufacturing overseas where they aren't as stringent.
And then we complain about the companies going overseas, well we tax and over regulate them more than anyplace else.
That's the main issue with taxing them even more, eventually we wont have any manufacture capacity, and the remaining companies will leave the country.
It's like ripping someone in two.
You want our manufacture capacity back, or you want to regulate how much dust is in a desert?.
@bluesrockfan36 if companies wanna go over seas and still do business with America they will taxed like crazy.. If they wanna just plain leave.. o well new company's will take their place. I dont care how many companies leave. we can make new ones that supply Americans. No more Imports period. no more taking jobs over seas bc the huge tax breaks they get..do business here in America with Americans working or get the fuck out. No matter how many leave others will take their place
It takes about 3 weeks to start a buisness in China, and about 3 years to start one in the U.S.
We cannot 'make new ones' that supply Americans, not unless the government takes over with them and we all become communists. EPA regulations harm american industries more than foreign ones.
So no more imports, why do you want to starve people and not let them have the best goods available?.
You keep saying others will come in their place, what makes you so sure?.
I used to be a liberal, who adhered to 'good intended' policies like what you advocate, until i started reading about the different economic policies. The most well-intentioned programs backfire harming the people they wanted to help in the first place.
You'll have to reach a conclusion... what do you want more?:
1. Help the American people.
2. Punish corporations.
You cannot do 2, while doing 1, and you cannot do 1, while doing 2
If you don't like policy, or it doesn't work change it.
I want corporations to be viewed as "Not people". I want the money and lobbyist taken out of politics. I want our leaders to be held criminally liable for any side, or back room deals that make that profits them. I want our leaders to be criminally liable for the promises they make and don't follow through when running for office.
@bluesrockfan36 dude understand our Constitution is outdated and lets be honest.. the founding fathers were a bunch of drugs that came up with a good idea.. I mean for gosh sakes they would have pistol duels when they disagree.. all i am saying is that its time to evolve
@bluesrockfan36@bluesrockfan36 LOL of course .. and right off the top of my head the Right to Bare arms i would take away, a rewrite that includes provisions for a new national currency, a requirement that troops refuse certain military orders and the abolishment of the Federal Reserve. Venusporject(dot)com look up jacque fresco. These are the people that should be leading our country
You want to take away the second amendment?. The reason the Japanese never invaded mainland USA in WW 2?, the means to protect yourself and your family from both intruders and terrorists (foreign and domestic)?.
Disarming the public... it's what police states do.
Anyways if you want to disarm the public, you need to pass an amendment, you cannot simply 'ignore' the law that you don't agree with, it's stupid, irresponsible and immoral.
@bluesrockfan36 I am a US marine and i happen to know what Guns, specially fully automatic and semi automatic assault rifles do to the human body. The reason Japan never invaded is bc they though we were to racily diverse to ever unify and counter back.. guess what they were wrong. Let me also remind you that a Squad of Marines 5 guys could take entire Neighborhoods. We should have the right to bare not leather arms to protect ourselves and not spill blood
Have you heard of a country called Switzerland?. Ever wondered why Nazi Germany never invaded 'them'?. Ever wondered why they have one of the lowest crime rates in the world?.
How many people would that 'neighbourhood' have?, how many veterans, how many state militia members?.
Saying the government can overpower us militarily is no argument, to yield all our power to the government.
There is a very precise reason the second amendment was set in place.
@bluesrockfan36 yea i know why it was in place. bc back then it stood a chance of winning. you could defend yourself with small arms. Today's world you will die before you hear a noise. and veterans. including myself will die at the hands of active duty. Only nonviolent protests are the answer. You pick up a firearm and your dead
@bluesrockfan36 He is not even wining! Ron Paul doesn't stand chance. so not worth discussing. and he doesn't get the most support from the Military let alone active duty bc he talks about cutting their funds. Detention of Us citizens suspected of Terrorism. I don't know about you. i don't know too many Americans that use terror as a weapon and if they do i do give a shit how long they are locked up. If we didn't have Obama we would have McCain and fucking Palin.
Actually we have records, he does get the most support and donations from active duty military, more than all the other candidates put together and more than Obama.
He does not want to cut their funds, he wants to stop the wars, which is different.
He is, actually winning, it's a 2 people race now due to delegate count, it's Romney vs Paul.
You really are easily impressionable by the media aren't you?.
You do know that 'terrorism' is applicable to just about anyone?.
@bluesrockfan36 active duty military support is bullshit. I know for a fact bc i talk to my people.. 2nd he is talking about cutting funds and closing bases world wide. Romney will win. its very plain to see. Ron Paul supports are young and in this country the young dont vote. 13% of the Iowa cauc voters were under the age of 30. Right everyone is a terrorist.. everyone uses fear as a weapon. and you say i am impressionable my the media. hahahah
Oh you know for a 'fact' because you actually talked to ALL active duty personnel?. My god, I'm amazed you're actually an atheist, you really don't have critical thinking skills.
We can actually *track* financial support through tax returns, so yes we do know, and no it's not bullshit. But yet you're so eager to dismiss obvious evidence.
'Romney will win' ... right, because you can predict the future, are you omniscient now?.
@bluesrockfan36 your cliaming things as fact your saying that Ron paul has more military supports than anyone else and your saying im dont have critical thinking skills.. WAKE UP What Tax returns? hahah from what year? taxes from 2011 havent even been filled and your using it as a source? Dont be mad at me that Romey is going to win i didnt vote for him
I'm not saying everyone is a terrorist, I'm saying legally the term is so lose and undefined they can literally charge with 'suspected terrorism' just about anybody.
So, if only 13% of the Iowa caucus were youth, and Ron Paul tied for first with delegate number, how the hell does that mean that Ron Paul's support is 'young'.
Actually that's logically and mathematically impossible.
@bluesrockfan36 If you think, Independents, gays, blacks, Hispanic, democrat, liberals, progressives are going to vote for ron paul your sadly wrong. but it doesn't matter Romney has the backing and the Republicans will vote him in.
He has more independent votes than Obama. I'm Hispanic and I will certainly vote for him.
Liberals and progressives are pissed at Obama for being the continuation of Bush.
He has a lot of support among disgruntled democrats.
And add to that, Ron Paul will mop the floor with Obama in debates. I mean seriously, if the message is the bill of rights, there is no way to actually lose, against the president who legalized summary executions.
@bluesrockfan36 are you serious? you didnt know? Ron Paul has been getting funding from the koch borthers for years.. ever hear of the tea party? who started that? learn to do your own research. try google moron. i dont support Romeny or Obama. We are talking about Ron paul. "The Civil Rights Act of '64 did not improve race relations of enhance freedom"
@bluesrockfan36 He is From texas! Private property, personalty liberties, He has even made Millions of dollars off Racist propaganda it doesn't take much logic to see a racists! DID EVER GO TO A TEA PARTY RALLY? That man Supports segregation. hands down and i have to go to work so im done talking about this.. it doesnt matter anyway bc he wont beat romey.. beside time will come and you will how stupid you are
@bluesrockfan36 Million dollars a year ran more than one newsletter for 3 to 4 years what do you call it? No all Texas are not bad but we dont need another running for president. and please ron paul is a gynecologist
@bluesrockfan36 you keep speaking in contradictions you say brilliant then you say creationists.... you have to pay and its brings in donations he made a million dollars are year off his combined propaganda. you have so stupid notion that Ron Pual does no wrong . your fucking stupid and its showing more and more Ron Paul will not win so let it go. No giving more power to states. No closing the EPA and DOE fuck off you silly fuck. No undoing the civil rights acts.
The human psyche is much more complex than what you think. There are, have been very religious scientists who were and are brilliant. Take the most brilliant scientist ever known, Isaac Newton. He was an incredible fervent creationist.
I never said Ron Paul does no wrong, it's funny how you believe so faithfully that you know what others think. It's sheer arrogance.
What I'm saying is, you made a verifiable claim and have no proof for it.
Have more than 7 days of food in your house, you're eligible for 'suspicion of terrorism', go to a mosque, you're eligible, belong to a group that supports the constitution, you're eligible.
To say they're all terrorists, is absurd. Besides you do know that over 70% of terrorists cases that are taken to court they're dismissed, due to lack of evidence or false charges?.
Yet somehow you naively believe that the government will only imprison/assassinate terrorists.
@bluesrockfan36 dude we have more violence and terrorism from the right wing christians extremist than Muslims. dude i personally bagged and tagged many potato farmers they called terrorists. your not telling me anything new . haha so your saying the Gov is just going to start grabbing people up calling them terrorists and executing them huh.. thats what you think? i see it now Obama well they are terrorist and we had to kill them haha come on dude
Right wing christian fundamentalists are dangerous, but under no means do they qualify as 'terrorists'. Can you name a terrorist act performed by them?.
You 'bagged and tagged' potato farmers, where exactly?.
I'm not saying what the government will or wont do, I'm saying what they are legally capable of doing now, thanks to our beloved president.
@bluesrockfan36 The world is headed to a policed state. I have no problems with this since i do not commit crimes. Have you ever been to a country were the police run away in fear.?. i have. its bc the public is armed with heavy weapons. besides I have nothing to hide. the ones that talk about fighting, revolutions and all that bullshit are always the ones that have never spilled blood.
You really don't understand a thing about police states do you?.
Commiting crimes has nothing to do with being targeted by the police state. Reading a wrong book, using glasses, visiting strange websites, strongly supporting the constitution... these are targets for the police state.
What's criminal about supporting the constitution?.
No one wants to fight a 'revolution', but if push comes to shove, I will defend myself.
@bluesrockfan36 look dumb ass I helped create a policed state. I have been there done that. it is you that does not know why they are talking about. No dumb ass a policed state is not an abolishment of all rights. Moron America is a Policed state. Europe is all policed states. 3rd world country's are not policed states .. .
@Jasoncrim push comes to shove you will die you fool. your family .. your friends will be nothing but red stains. if you idiots decide to have an armed conflict. you will be whiped out and i and the rest of America will not care. on the other hand. If your nonviolent and unarmed and you are opened fire upon. the government will fall and the entire nation will back you.. so which do you perfer
@bluesrockfan36 you think you will have honor? you pick up a weapon and intend to use it against another American and you will never have honor. you will be a coward. you Civilians make me sick you think you need the ability to have an armed conflict. Thats pathetic. GW and the English had the same weapons. I love how you guys think that you would stand a chance or even engage in a conflict.. you would die before you heard a sound.. before you shot a round..
@bluesrockfan36 Nope they all had self loading powder ball muskets and we even have long rifles which the birts didnt have. no see you say stupid things that show you have no idea of the power of Military weapons. that you think the weapons you buy a johns gun shop give you a chance in hell. If you ever took an oath that means you swore to defeat Americans enemy's foreign and domestic and if you choose to pick up a weapon ill kill you. that is the limit to my arrogance
Go read what actual 'Police State' means and what forms of government it is.
Name ONE European country that's a police state.
No, American is not a police state by definition yet. But it's certainly going that way.
Why are you calling me dumb ass?, you're the one who's perfectly fine with a police state, and doesn't even realize that there are no such things as rights in one.
@bluesrockfan36 and yes i want the weapons to stop being sold and made. No more Hand guns. No little thugs running around with Ak 47's. The safest place for kids is a Military housing on base.. All The firearms on base are locked the armory expect for the weapons the MP's carry. American is Gun crazy and its silly people like you that think having those weapons you would even stand a chance at defending yourself
So, how do you 'protect' yourself from someone who is intent on harming you, without 'spilling blood'?.
I used to believe in the Venus Project, then I started reading.
It's just an anracho-communistic technocracy.
China's communism is nothing like the one advocated by TVP. And the sole reason China didn't fail like the USSR, is because they're actually incredibly capitalistic.
So, who currently running for POTUS, wants to end the FED?.
@bluesrockfan36 do some research man look up nonlethal arms for one thing. I dont care about who is currently running bc they are Republicans. they are not to be trusted. China is Communist. maybe not as bad as north Korea. but still. I will always beleive in the venus project. technology and science are the answers to our problems. Scientist should be leading our country not people from Texas thats for sure
What makes *your* ideas better than anyone else, or more moral for the matter. You want to attribute yourself dictatorial authoritarian powers, to *ignore* the laws passed by a democratic majority simply because, you don't like them.
Troops already have that requirement, they cannot infringe the constitution.
What 'new national currency', and abolish the FED?, so you do agree with Ron Paul.
I suggest you look up communism and why it failed, when it comes to TVP.
@bluesrockfan36 fyi china has not failed.. and i never said anything about communism. and there has been people that wanted to destroy the FED not just ron paul. I dont vote Republican. I dont vote for people that have a religious agenda. the supreme court just ruled they cant interfere with churches that practice discrimination. People should not have the right to religion. You wanna believe in fairy tales go right ahead but your not going to get special rights bc of it
Who are you, to tell me what I can or can't believe?. I think you're converting atheism into a religion, which is highly deplorable.
You are aware that this has been done in history right?, *forcing* people to become atheists, transferring their belief in God into an institution like the government.
The only think that happens, was the largest mass murderers in known history.
Religious freedom, is the epitome of a free society, which you seem so intended in destroying.
@bluesrockfan36 O and Gw Bush should be in Jail! for being a fucking no good lair. And military members that refused to go to Iraq were right to do so. weapons of mass destruction my ass! i did 3 tours to Iraq never had an SOP for wmds. But we she did disarm the entire nation. grabs there weapons blew them all up and now we are selling the new ones.. so yea you go ahead and vote Republican if you want. I will never vote for another Rep specially form texas
Yes Bush should go to jail, so should Obama, I'd rather they be executed for treason though.
There were no WMD in Iraq, and there's no nuclear weapons in Iran either, yet you're rejecting the ONLY candidate that acknowledges this, knows the history behind the regimes and wont declare war carelessly.
To say all republicans are the same, is idiotic.
Obama is by your definition a Republican then
I suggest you go and watch Dr. Paul oppose the wars and wanting to bring our troops back.
@bluesrockfan36 I want this Religious nonsense out of our politics. I want the the Corporations to be highly taxed, Imports to be Highly taxes. Money made off Stock market to be high taxed. If American money is transferred to off shore accounts in high volume to be highly taxed. Everything we own should say made in American and it if doesn't you better have paid a lot to get it
But my problem is, the economic reality of highly taxing corporations, when we already have the highest corporate tax rate in the world and highly taxing imports, is simply not feasible.
I want the exact same things as you believe you'll accomplish by doing that, but in a more realistic approach
How can we promote American industries, and simultaneously create the worst business environment in the world...
@bluesrockfan36 bull shit capital gains tax is down from 30 to 15 in some cases 5 percent from the money made abroad. takes for Corporations has done nothing but plummet the last 30 years... after the great depression Corp Tax was 91% time for the days to come back > Corps use to reinvest their money into their workers and the products.. but no they pocket the money bc of how low taxes are
Capital gains taxes that add to corporate taxes that compound on state corporate taxes, all of these which can amount up to 60% taxation (38% federal, 12% state). We have the highest corporate taxation system in the world. Destroying our competitiveness around the world, then you wonder why corporations go overseas.
No, saying our corporate taxes have 'plummeted' the last 30 years, is simply not true.
I suggest you go and read it for a change, and see how it has nothing to do, nor it includes 'pistol duels'.
People like you, spouting that indoctrinated nonsense, is the reason we have a president that can summarily kill U.S citizens or indefinitely detain them without trial nor evidence.
The constitution, gets amended, to conform with changes in society, the process itself is a very intelligent system designed to protect us from usurpation of illegal powers.
To get industries back, we need to become competitive worldwide for manufacturing. What environmentalists agencies fail to realize is that some people rather endure getting sick, or a shorter lifespan as long as they can get good paying jobs and provide food and a decent education to their children.
This is what happens with our steel mills and our coal plants. The EPA forbade mining new coal on the U.S... when we have the largest reserve in the world.. wtf?.
@bluesrockfan36 no we do not need to compete with the world with manufacturing.. no sweats on our soil please.. we can take care of our people with out purchasing from other nations. They have nothing we need.. I wonder if you have ever been to mexico or china? the EPA does a damn good job. Dont believe me go visit Beijing. Coal is not the answer. Fossil Fuels are not the answer. and i dont give a fuck what some people are willing to go through to have money.
But even if we did all that you suggested, we still wouldn't have enough to balance our budget.
The pentagon has no financial accountability whatsoever, they throw away money for all we know.
The military industrial complex is so heavily subsidized it makes me sick, I mean seriously there were bills to build 2 jet engines for a 1 engine fighter. It's stupid.
Nothing Ron Paul cuts, is vital nor even necessary for us to run our society.
@bluesrockfan36 I am a US Marine.. and i can tell you the Military is crazy about fiscal responsibility. Our bases world wide play key roles that can not be cut or they will be hell to pay.. I agree with the Pentagon needing to be held responsible. and I agree that too much money goes into developmental projects.. but on the other hand those projects do save lives
If you really expect state gov to respect individual rights you're so wrong. The FED stepped cause the states wasn't respecting individual rights. It's not perfect but I'd rather have the FED then each state government. It will be chaos trying to get all 50 states with their own gov control to do the right thing. Corporations will not do right left unregulated they will suck you dry if you give them the chance.
@NikEgUy101 Seems to work alright for European countries and the EU. Their current concerns are because they messed up and let Greece into the union, which is amusing since the US fed has been dealing with similar problems bailing out California and other states for a while now. Also, it's not in a corporation's self interest to suck you dry because then there's nothing left. It's in a corporation's self interest to keep you working and buying in a steady stream.
@DeJach I don't really know how Europe works so I'll take your word for it. I think it comes down to if I have trust in the states. I would have to say no not that I'm crazy about the federal government. Corporation part I would have to disagree heavily on that issue. I truly if you give corporation the advantage to take advantage of you they will. Like what they are doing with us normal folks with politicians lobbying and such.
@NikEgUy101 Well, one advantage the US has over the EU is that each state is part of the same country, and so it's incredibly cheap and easy to move states. Washington state will probably be fine, and I'm reasonably fine with letting, say, Georgia, rot, and I could possibly see myself lobbying for Washington state to help bring entrepreneurs and other good people from there to here so only the people that deserve to rot there will.
@NikEgUy101 For the fascism issue, i.e. corps controlling gov., the main problem is a lack of principle on society's side. Gov. has failed at trying to legislate principle. For my simple reasoning, assume society was full of principled people: a politician caught taking a bribe to go against the Public's interest would be booted out within 24 hours. A corporation caught bribing a politician would receive a state-wide boycott, even if it's something so seemingly necessary as Walmart.
@NikEgUy101 Finally, the best places to live in world history are those where business and customer interests are aligned, and where corporations are free to be created and destroyed. In Hungary it's pretty much suicide to try a startup legally, unlike in the US. But in the US, almost all monopolies are granted that status by the Fed, and so we don't have natural death for companies either. Fortunately startups to create wealth are so far sufficient or we'd have fallen long ago.
I think Michael Shure is my favorite of the Hosts. He can carry himself in a more mature manner than Either Cenk or Ana not that I dont appreciate the Humor those two bring to the table.

Although it shouldn't be the case, going after the youth vote is a bad political move. The elderly are overwhelmingly more likely to vote whereas the youth are far less likely to vote, and it's why median ages of voters usually end up in the 50s, which is far above average.
Saaduk92 1 month ago
Elections can also be about diminishing crime, or inequality, because people can collectively choose to make their country a better place to live. Or about improving schools for the sake of bringing wisdom to people, instead of just for economic usefulness. Those things are idealistic because they have to do with values and ideals. Small government libertarianism is nihilistic.
Ollie9402 1 month ago
The message of small government is not idealistic. American politics only seems to be about the degree to which the government should be used as a tool for making the business world thrive. The assumption that this is the only purpose government can serve is never even questioned. It's funny that, in a country so proud of the government's small role in the economy, there is an obsession with the economy in public discourse.
Ollie9402 1 month ago
Ron Paul "wasn't a factor"? Paul got 26% of the vote (that alone clearly makes him a "factor"), Romney only won by 8 votes. You don't think that if Paul wasn't in the race, things could have possibly turned out differently? What if all Paul voters went for Gingrich instead? Or Santorum? Just sounds like wishful thinking to pretend that he "wasn't a factor".

Don't listen to everything the media says about him. Vote for Ron Paul if you want to restore America to what it once was.

Ron Paul is the only worthy candidate.
nar3sas 1 month ago
@nar3sas The problem is every freaken political thread of any subject that I go into are RP supporters who cant shut up about their savior for 1 video.

Then you say anything even slightly unperfect about RP, no matter how many times you compliment him before, your part of a conspiracy.
Amongst another announces of his fans.
Also, theory and opinion isnt fact.
waltermh111 1 month ago
@waltermh111 RP supporters have no reason to shut up. We know that if Ron Paul isn't elected, America is basically screwed. The other supporters, however, see this election as just another one. That's why we feel the need to do what we do. If it sickens you, then there's a problem. You should be "preaching" about him too. People who don't support Ron Paul are either brainwashed or actually want America to be destroyed. The videos I gave you clearly provide facts, not theories and opinions.

@Jasoncrim
What does the Department of Commerce even do, do you know?.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
We can't have everything.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 so what.. where were you during the bush years? very body acts like we just got this debt and it hasnt been around all our lives... there is a lot of waste full spending. Plus the tax for making money over seas has gone down to 5%.. its all bull shit... raise taxes high on everything imported.. lower tax on everything exported.. turn American Industry back on.. everything we need can be made here at home. Cut Government pensions, etc
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
We run around 1.2-1.7 trillion dollar deficits each year.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Raising import tariffs is a bit dangerous given our current situation.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
It's just not sane.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 we send our batteries to mexico, we store Nuclear waste on our own soil. and we dumb pure shit and toxins into our water systems. and last time i check pollution is bad. Civilians really make me sick, always thinking of themselves.
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Indeed pollution is bad and should be adressed. That's why Ron Paul doesn't actually dispose of the EPA.
But over-zealot environmentalists are just as bad. A certain degree of pollution is necessary to do anything. Hell you can't breath without polluting.
The EPA transformed itself into some-sort of extreme environmentalist dictatorship.
Who do you think can handle regulations best... a small business (prime source of employment) or large corporations?
Then we wonder whats wrong.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Companies manufacturing overseas where they aren't as stringent.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
And then we complain about the companies going overseas, well we tax and over regulate them more than anyplace else.
That's the main issue with taxing them even more, eventually we wont have any manufacture capacity, and the remaining companies will leave the country.
It's like ripping someone in two.
You want our manufacture capacity back, or you want to regulate how much dust is in a desert?.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 if companies wanna go over seas and still do business with America they will taxed like crazy.. If they wanna just plain leave.. o well new company's will take their place. I dont care how many companies leave. we can make new ones that supply Americans. No more Imports period. no more taking jobs over seas bc the huge tax breaks they get..do business here in America with Americans working or get the fuck out. No matter how many leave others will take their place
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
You keep saying others will come in their place, what makes you so sure?.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim

@bluesrockfan36 I am a US marine and i happen to know what Guns, specially fully automatic and semi automatic assault rifles do to the human body. There is a very precise reason the second amendment was set in place.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 yea i know why it was in place. bc back then it stood a chance of winning. you could defend yourself with small arms. Look why he gets the most support from active duty military, look how hard the mainstream media tries to downplay his victories.
But no, you'd rather vote a 'trusted' Democrat, who legalized summary executions and indefinite detention of U.S citizens WITHOUT trial nor evidence.
And above all that, you want to disarm the population?.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 He is not even wining! Ron Paul doesn't stand chance. so not worth discussing. and he doesn't get the most support from the Military let alone active duty bc he talks about cutting their funds. If we didn't have Obama we would have McCain and fucking Palin.
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
You do know that 'terrorism' is applicable to just about anyone?.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago

'Romney will win' ... right, because you can predict the future, are you omniscient now?.

Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
I meant campaign finance report.
Just google: politifact + Ron Paul + military donations, and you can check yourself
You can't really dispute verifiable facts. I honestly thought, only religious people did that, but I guess I was wrong.
I'm not mad at you. But saying Romney will win is a huge statement of faith. Yes, FAITH, as in not based on evidence.
Again, are you sure you're not one of those young earth creationists?.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim

Actually, yes.

Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Just because he was against the CRA act does not mean he was in favor of Jim Crow laws.
You have any idea what the logical fallacy of 'inverse error' is?.
Here's Paul on Jim Crow laws:
The principle of private property has been undermined, and it was started back then, but they can’t twist that and say I favored Jim Crow laws."
I used google, and all I can find is how the Koch Bros, refuse to endorse Ron Paul.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 He is From texas! Private property, personalty liberties, He has even made Millions of dollars off Racist propaganda it doesn't take much logic to see a racists! DID EVER GO TO A TEA PARTY RALLY? That man Supports segregation. hands down and i have to go to work so im done talking about this.. it doesnt matter anyway bc he wont beat romey.. beside time will come and you will how stupid you are
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
He has made million of dollars from 9 racist newsletters of thousands printed?.
Just from those 9?. Rofl.
You're running out of arguments.
The man single handedly founded the tea party before it was taken over by the bible thumpers.
What does being from Texas have to do with anything?, are all Texans 'evil'?. What sort of bullshit prejudice is that?.
Provide me proof that he supports segregation, I mean seriously the man gave free medical care as a doctor to minorities.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 Million dollars a year ran more than one newsletter for 3 to 4 years what do you call it? No all Texas are not bad but we dont need another running for president. and please ron paul is a gynecologist
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Of all the newsletters ever issued by the Ron Paul survival report, only 9 had racist content.
Are you honestly saying that those 9 newsletter issues raised millions of dollars?.
Care to point out the source for this, or is it another bullshit allegation not based on evidence?.
I thought you BELIEVED that scientists should run our society, a medical doctor with a degree in biology IS a scientist.
What's wrong with Texas?. Eisnehower and Johnson were Texan. Bush however, was not.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 the source hahahah TYT a scientist that believes in creationism hahahahahahahahahahahahaha do see the bullshit your spew?
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
There are several brilliant scientists who are creationists, and I'm glad the human race has them, they're exceptional in their fields.
TYT said he earned millions of dollars from the 9 racist newsletters?.
So you have no evidence whatsoever uh?.
I think you may be more creationist than Ron Paul, being how easily you believe in things unfounded on evidence and common sense.
Really, what sort of 9 local issues of a newsletters raise over a million dollars?.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 you keep speaking in contradictions you say brilliant then you say creationists.... you have to pay and its brings in donations he made a million dollars are year off his combined propaganda. you have so stupid notion that Ron Pual does no wrong . your fucking stupid and its showing more and more Ron Paul will not win so let it go. No giving more power to states. No closing the EPA and DOE fuck off you silly fuck. No undoing the civil rights acts.
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
What I'm saying is, you made a verifiable claim and have no proof for it.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
How many clients did he sell the newsletter subscription to?, what was the subscription cost?, how many newsletters were issued per month?.
See, answer these questions, and then we can start approaching that ridiculous claim.
I'm far from stupid, the fact that I don't insult you in spite to all your Ad Hominem attacks indicates this.
Ron Paul won't close the EPA.
DOE provides 8% of funding to schools and over 90% of the regulations, teachers don't want it, why should we keep it?.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Here's a nice example of the inverse error logical fallacy:
Given that most child molesters and murderers are adults, we're gonna implement a policy of assassinating anyone over the age of 17.
You oppose to such policy?. What you're in favor of child molestation and murder?. How despicable!.
See how absurd it is?, same applies to the Patriot Act, SOPA and NDAA.
Opposing those bills does NOT make you a terrorist supporter.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Yet somehow you naively believe that the government will only imprison/assassinate terrorists.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 dude we have more violence and terrorism from the right wing christians extremist than Muslims. dude i personally bagged and tagged many potato farmers they called terrorists. your not telling me anything new . haha so your saying the Gov is just going to start grabbing people up calling them terrorists and executing them huh.. thats what you think? i see it now Obama well they are terrorist and we had to kill them haha come on dude
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
They already assassinated 3 U.S citizens.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
I sadly do know many Americans that use terror as a weapon. IRS, FBI, CIA the military.
Oh yes, the *military* can now operate in COTUS.
How about that?, but no... let's disarm the populace when we have an overwhelming amount of evidence that we're heading into a police state.
I'm not sure about you, but I'd rather have a fighting chance doesn't matter how small, than give up before the fighting even starts.
Just give it all up.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 The world is headed to a policed state. I have no problems with this since i do not commit crimes. Have you ever been to a country were the police run away in fear.?. i have. its bc the public is armed with heavy weapons. besides I have nothing to hide. the ones that talk about fighting, revolutions and all that bullshit are always the ones that have never spilled blood.
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
What makes you think I'm not a veteran btw?.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 look dumb ass I helped create a policed state. I have been there done that. it is you that does not know why they are talking about. No dumb ass a policed state is not an abolishment of all rights. Moron America is a Policed state. Europe is all policed states. 3rd world country's are not policed states .. .
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim push comes to shove you will die you fool. your family .. your friends will be nothing but red stains. if you idiots decide to have an armed conflict. you will be whiped out and i and the rest of America will not care. on the other hand. If your nonviolent and unarmed and you are opened fire upon. the government will fall and the entire nation will back you.. so which do you perfer
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
You say I'd die, I may, I may not.
But I certainly won't live a coward.
What life awaits me if I surrender, one of constant fear?, no thank you.
We're not gonna have an armed conflict. But to take away the ability to have one, is absurd.
You know who were 'gonna die'?. George Washington and his crappy militia. That's what the English said.
But governments always underestimate the will of the people.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 you think you will have honor? you pick up a weapon and intend to use it against another American and you will never have honor. you will be a coward. you Civilians make me sick you think you need the ability to have an armed conflict. Thats pathetic. GW and the English had the same weapons. I love how you guys think that you would stand a chance or even engage in a conflict.. you would die before you heard a sound.. before you shot a round..
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Nope, I don't give a damn about honor.
But I refuse to live in a tyranny.
I really don't understand how you want TVP and at the same time condone a tyrannical government.
I'm wasn't always a civilian you know?. And unlike you, I take the oath I did, very seriously.
Washington and the English did not have the same weapons, the English had way superior firepower.
I love that you think you know shit about my life... such arrogance.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 Nope they all had self loading powder ball muskets and we even have long rifles which the birts didnt have. no see you say stupid things that show you have no idea of the power of Military weapons. that you think the weapons you buy a johns gun shop give you a chance in hell. If you ever took an oath that means you swore to defeat Americans enemy's foreign and domestic and if you choose to pick up a weapon ill kill you. that is the limit to my arrogance
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
I'm not talking about handguns, I'm talking about artillery and naval support, which the British was far superior in.
However the British severely underestimated the Americans, and thus ended up with incompetent soldiers.
So nice you're so willing to dismiss the oath you took and willing to kill an American that's defending his home from invasion.
Your ego is severely inflated, believing you can use force to shape the world in what you want it to be.
What makes you think you can?
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Wow... simply wow.
Seriously, look it up.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
There is such a thing called third parties you know?.
But to say Obama is good, and republicans are all bad, that Ron Paul is 'bad' because he's a republican, is incredibly beyond prejudice.
You have very strange views about our country.
Again, check out gun laws in Switzerland and tell me it isn't safe in there. How do you account for that?.
The MP does not work to intentionally harm the military. Our government on the other hand does work to harm the citizens, relentlessly.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 and yes i want the weapons to stop being sold and made. No more Hand guns. No little thugs running around with Ak 47's. The safest place for kids is a Military housing on base.. All The firearms on base are locked the armory expect for the weapons the MP's carry. American is Gun crazy and its silly people like you that think having those weapons you would even stand a chance at defending yourself
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
So, who currently running for POTUS, wants to end the FED?.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 do some research man look up nonlethal arms for one thing. I dont care about who is currently running bc they are Republicans. they are not to be trusted. China is Communist. maybe not as bad as north Korea. but still. I will always beleive in the venus project. technology and science are the answers to our problems. Scientist should be leading our country not people from Texas thats for sure
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
I have an idea... how about, when criminals start using non-lethal weapons, we go ahead and talk about getting rid of the second amendment.
That includes our government.
Would you rather go one on one, you using a non-lethal weapon, and someone else using an assault rifle?.
Seriously man, what's wrong with you?.
Republicans = Democrats, they all work for the same guys.
Ron Paul has a flawless record, he's ignored by the mainstream media and the status quo hates him for a reason.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
I suggest you look up communism and why it failed, when it comes to TVP.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 fyi china has not failed.. and i never said anything about communism. and there has been people that wanted to destroy the FED not just ron paul. I dont vote Republican. I dont vote for people that have a religious agenda. the supreme court just ruled they cant interfere with churches that practice discrimination. People should not have the right to religion. You wanna believe in fairy tales go right ahead but your not going to get special rights bc of it
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
I'm an atheist, and what sort of religious agenda does Ron Paul advocate?.
I don't think you understand freedom of religion, given how you want to ban the first amendment.
You have no *right* to impose your beliefs or lack of beliefs on others by force, no matter how much you think you're correct.
What special rights do you 'get' from the main core of philosophical freedom there has been in history?.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Religious freedom, is the epitome of a free society, which you seem so intended in destroying.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 O and Gw Bush should be in Jail! for being a fucking no good lair. And military members that refused to go to Iraq were right to do so. weapons of mass destruction my ass! i did 3 tours to Iraq never had an SOP for wmds. But we she did disarm the entire nation. grabs there weapons blew them all up and now we are selling the new ones.. so yea you go ahead and vote Republican if you want. I will never vote for another Rep specially form texas
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Paul oppose the wars and wanting to bring our troops back.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 o they are not my ideas They are the Ideas of the Venus project
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 I want this Religious nonsense out of our politics. I want the the Corporations to be highly taxed, Imports to be Highly taxes. Money made off Stock market to be high taxed. If American money is transferred to off shore accounts in high volume to be highly taxed. Everything we own should say made in American and it if doesn't you better have paid a lot to get it
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Without fucking everyone (consumers) over?
That's what you'll accomplish
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 bull shit capital gains tax is down from 30 to 15 in some cases 5 percent from the money made abroad. takes for Corporations has done nothing but plummet the last 30 years... after the great depression Corp Tax was 91% time for the days to come back > Corps use to reinvest their money into their workers and the products.. but no they pocket the money bc of how low taxes are
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Capital gains taxes that add to corporate taxes that compound on state corporate taxes, all of these which can amount up to 60% taxation (38% federal, 12% state). We have the highest corporate taxation system in the world. Destroying our competitiveness around the world, then you wonder why corporations go overseas.
No, saying our corporate taxes have 'plummeted' the last 30 years, is simply not true.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Taxation for corporations was never, in history 91%, why do you make these numbers up?.
Corporation taxation after the WW 2 (end of the depression) was around 40%, later got changed to 38%.
The constitution is 'outdated' you have any idea how dangerous, and outright stupid that is?.
You're throwing away the only document that protects us, the citizens from the government, the source of laws in our countries.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
Again, go read it.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
The EPA forbade mining new coal on the U.S... when we have the largest reserve in the world.. wtf?.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 no we do not need to compete with the world with manufacturing.. no sweats on our soil please.. we can take care of our people with out purchasing from other nations. They have nothing we need.. I wonder if you have ever been to mexico or china? the EPA does a damn good job. Dont believe me go visit Beijing. Coal is not the answer. Fossil Fuels are not the answer. and i dont give a fuck what some people are willing to go through to have money.
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
What he saves, our safety nets, are, however.
bluesrockfan36 1 month ago
@bluesrockfan36 I am a US Marine.. and i can tell you the Military is crazy about fiscal responsibility. Our bases world wide play key roles that can not be cut or they will be hell to pay.. I agree with the Pentagon needing to be held responsible. and I agree that too much money goes into developmental projects.. but on the other hand those projects do save lives
Jasoncrim 1 month ago
@Jasoncrim
When countries can't pay the interest on their own national debt, they inflate their currency in order to make it 'cheaper'.
You do know what will happen if we start inflating our currency right?.
Look at a Brazil, Germany and Zimbabwe.
You will have a seriously bad depression, destroying the middle class, screwing the poor and the seniors, while benefiting the rich.
Is that what you want?.
We cannot sustain this madness.

NikEgUy101 1 month ago
@NikEgUy101 Seems to work alright for European countries and the EU. Their current concerns are because they messed up and let Greece into the union, which is amusing since the US fed has been dealing with similar problems bailing out California and other states for a while now. Also, it's not in a corporation's self interest to suck you dry because then there's nothing left. It's in a corporation's self interest to keep you working and buying in a steady stream.
DeJach 1 month ago
@DeJach I don't really know how Europe works so I'll take your word for it. I think it comes down to if I have trust in the states. I would have to say no not that I'm crazy about the federal government. Corporation part I would have to disagree heavily on that issue. I truly if you give corporation the advantage to take advantage of you they will. Like what they are doing with us normal folks with politicians lobbying and such.
NikEgUy101 1 month ago
@NikEgUy101 Well, one advantage the US has over the EU is that each state is part of the same country, and so it's incredibly cheap and easy to move states. Washington state will probably be fine, and I'm reasonably fine with letting, say, Georgia, rot, and I could possibly see myself lobbying for Washington state to help bring entrepreneurs and other good people from there to here so only the people that deserve to rot there will.
DeJach 1 month ago
@NikEgUy101 For the fascism issue, i.e. corps controlling gov., the main problem is a lack of principle on society's side. Gov. has failed at trying to legislate principle. For my simple reasoning, assume society was full of principled people: a politician caught taking a bribe to go against the Public's interest would be booted out within 24 hours. A corporation caught bribing a politician would receive a state-wide boycott, even if it's something so seemingly necessary as Walmart.
DeJach 1 month ago
@NikEgUy101 Finally, the best places to live in world history are those where business and customer interests are aligned, and where corporations are free to be created and destroyed. In Hungary it's pretty much suicide to try a startup legally, unlike in the US. But in the US, almost all monopolies are granted that status by the Fed, and so we don't have natural death for companies either. Fortunately startups to create wealth are so far sufficient or we'd have fallen long ago.
