@CountryHitsUSA I would bet that this is from on-stage at the Ryman auditorium in Nashville... because the guitar player is Jimmy "Spider" Wilson, who played in the Opry house band.
He definitely had a sweet loose wrist for chunking out rhythms. I wish I had that 400. What a guitar. I liked the Epi the lead man was playing as well. What a sound.
This is one of the best versions on Youtube of Don performing his classic hit. In other renditions he appears bored and distracted (he had many problems and did not enjoy performing live much). Chet Atkins, who produced most of Don's hits wisely allowed Don to be play his Super 400 archtop acoustic on the sessions. Notice Don's right (strumming) in this clip. He really had quite a style.
