But i started my Mgs love and experience with this masterpiece and actually i am luck, cause i started with the prequel and the beggining of all history of Big Boss and the Boss of course.

This review fails in some points, but overall is a nice review, but i believe this game deserves alot more, including a better score.

This game is still good on lower difficulty levels, but in order to fully appreciate it, try to play it on Extreme. That's a thrilling experience.

Honestly I'd truly recommend playing them in order; the overall story of the series is pretty much unparalleled in any storytelling medium with the only real criticism being that each installment largely assumes prior knowledge of the storyline, so as long as you play them in order it's a near perfect experience. If you get a PS3 you can also download the first MGS off of the playstation store for like 5 GDP even if the system isn't backwards compatible.

MGS3-Naked Snake goes to save sokolov somewhere in russia. The boss defects. You go back 2 or so weeks later. New mission, defeat the boss and save sokolov. He destroys the shagohod, Kills The Boss, and earns the title of big boss.

Metal Gear-Solid Snake (clone of big boss) is sent in to outer heaven to destroy metal gear and save gray fox. He does so only to find that his commander big boss was behind it all.

Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake-There is not enough characters left to explain!

Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake-Snake is sent into zanzibar land to destroy the new metal gear. He does so and also has to kill his old friend, gray fox/ frank jaeger. Metal Gear Solid-Solid Snake is put up to a new mission, to stop a nuclear launch by the terrorist group lead by Liquid Snake. Snake wins and saves the day again.

Metal Gear Solid 2-Snake and Otacon (who snake met in Metal Gear Solid) form a anti metal gear group called philanthropy. Snake sneaks onto a tanker in the new york harbor and finds that Ocelot has taken over the Tanker and steals metal gear. 2 years later Raiden sneaks into the Plant (a water purifying plant thing) and stops the terrorist group dead cell. He finds out there is now arsenal gear. He is tricked and ends of on the new metal gear thanks to snake. Raiden kills Solidus Snake and wins.

Metal Gear Solid 4-Snake is back and finds out he has an accelerated aging. He is now older thanks to this. He is back to assassinate the terrorist leader Ocelot. He fails at first. He then finds naomi hunter. After that she betrays him. (snake thinks at first). Anyways long story short. Snake destroys arsenal and the patriots system. Now nanomachines are invalid and so people arent controlled and monitored and what now. There is also Portable Ops and Peace Walker. Which are sequels to MGS3!
