Juventus were once a feared force in all of European football and everytime ANY team or fan saw them qualify for the knockout phases, they knew they would be in for a tough road to the final because at some point, they would have to go through Juventus.

I'm a hardcore Manchester United and back then, I used to agree with Neville. Juventus were once a feared force in all of European football and everytime ANY team or fan saw them qualify for the knockout phases, they knew they would be in for a tough road to the final because at some point, they would have to go through Juventus.

Ive been a United fan for 20 years and have never rated Gary Neville. He is also generally considered a bit of a prat for his comments on, and mainly off the pitch. However, he did gain credibility for celebrating in front of the Liverpool fans at Anfield, and also refusing to shake Peter Schmeicals hand in the tunnel when he had signed for Manchester City.
