On my old account I uploaded the rare true stereo version of "Satisfaction" by The Rolling Stones, only released in Japan and Germany. It recieved only 2 strikes on the same single video, both from the same source. This "3" strike clause / rule / statement by Youtube is a lie. You get 2. I believe the copyright owners should accept that it is free advertising by fans of their material because no video on Youtube will ever be as good as the quality as media purchased from the owner directly.

We should make our own video website where we can upload whatever the hell music videos we want, anything "copyrighted" can not be touched and we restore the youtube layout back to the 2006 layout, when everyone rated in stars, the volume control was on the right side of the screen and the description box was a big block on the far right side.

I had the same problem. I had a video at least half a year ago that was copyrighted and deleted, nothing since. Suddenly just now they completely disabled my account and took away all of my stuff. I understand the copy right thing but 1) How are we supposed to know whats copyright to where we cant use it at all and whats okay for SOME things? and 2) Why punish us for something that was taken care of HALF A YEAR AGO (or in your case, two years)!

@13animefanatic Music claims aren't so bad, they usually just delete the audio. You can simply use Audioswap or Re-Upload the video with new music. Also you don't usually get a strike unlike video claims.

It's not Youtube's fault they are being threatened from copyright laws, don't blame Youtube. This is the cause from Google copyright claims and other media corporations. It's because they are so F*cking greedy that they want to run out competition, which is bullshit because plenty of corporations such as Viacom are also playing a huge role on the banning of Youtube videos due to copyright, even though they themselves use viral videos from limewire, or upload YOUTUBE videos.

Agreed, BS! I agree with not putting up complete episode but little clips wouldn't hurt. And using music is like advertising! There is no proof that we own the music.

I had the same problem. I had a video at least half a year ago that was copyrighted and deleted, nothing since. Suddenly just now they completely disabled my account and took away all of my stuff. I understand the copy right thing but 1) How are we supposed to know whats copyright to where we cant use it at all and whats okay for SOME things? and 2) Why punish us for something that was taken care of HALF A YEAR AGO (or in your case, two years)!

The way Youtube is trying get rid of accounts by mistake, so that the people make videos who are getting popularity in this site are getting targeted from being banned. Cartoon Network is suing you for what money. Also I thought it is adult swim and cartoon network is before adult swim's late night shit. That must of suck donkey's balls. Hopefully Seth Green on Robot Chicken isn't making fun of Jesus Christ's name because I've thought about that.

@13animefanatic Music claims aren't so bad, they usually just delete the audio. You can simply use Audioswap or Re-Upload the video with new music. Also you don't usually get a strike unlike video claims.

Excellent and a Brilliant upload! Thank you so much for this! YOUTUBE is getting bad now! I uploaded a couple of videos with woman wearing swimwear. My videos were were flagged with "This video may not be suitable for minors" with this sh?t up, no one will ever look at the videos,young or old. There is so much business wise going on behind the seens with YOUTUBE.

As I said before, an escalator ride video was flagged as a copyright infringement. If YT actually WATCHED THE VIDEO, they'd realise riding an escalator is not copyrighted. Same with someone falling down the stairs vlogging. No investigation. BRILLIANT JOB YT!
