Characters: Samus Aran-Her beam gun, with paint,

Link- Bow and arrow, instead of the tip being metal it's paint

Mega man- his arm cannon, the different "Man's" he's fought in the past can make his stronger or weaker (Bigger paint slash or lot's of paint but not very effective)

Simon Belmont - Whip, not a paint ball weapon but very, very powerful (he'll be a stealth character I guess)

bob-omb- a large spead of paint

swooper radar - birds eye view of the map and shows all players positions

DK's could be a bannana -slows/trips others can trip on it your self or

a barrel -stationary cover to shoot from lasts a short amount of time

Petey Piranha could be the equivalent of the Pyro class from TF2, while Prof E Gadd could be the Engineer from TF2. Luigi could very well be the Soldier by shooting those black boo things out of his Poltergust what-thousand. Waluigi doesn't really fit anywhere, but hey, he's tall and thin just like the Sniper, so why not?

Hold on, I just thought of something.

What are they supposed to do for the single-player campaign? I mean, yeah, most FPSs' strong points are their multiplayer modes, but there has to be some sort of single-player mode. Otherwise it would seem shallow like the original SSB.

And I'm not sure how you're going to make a story about paintball. At least sports are something you can get a profession in, and you can tell a story about how you got there. Not sure about paintball...

I like your idea, but I would make one change. I see where you're going with the whole shirt painted health system thing, but think about it, there has been Mario games with health. Maybe they shouldn't show physical damage, but maybe they can make it so if you're low on health, your character will start to pant. But this is your opinion. But that's what I would change.

Approaching Nintendo with this idea won't do any good unless this video had a lot of support behind it to show Nintendo who would buy it.
