They have a worse durability then wood, and they cannot mine much. They do look awesome, but if you want it for mining, a waste of your gold.

Beta is more complicated, and there's a lot of things you need to think about when you play. But honestly, I think Beta is what Notch intended the game to look like from the beginning. If I had to choose between the two, I'd say I like the deeper Beta version more.

@fragnutss117 I disagree. The Adventure Update was made so you have to use all of the things you learnt and all the resources you collected and could get much better things. In my opinion it's good as you want to keep playing to get better stuff. For example you need 1 thing to get another. It's amazing how it works and I think tis adventure update only added more depth into the game.
