jessroz, I agree. I am American and watch the American version on TV and the British version by way of YouTube. And, believe it or not, the British version is just as catty. And, they cursed twice as much. During season 1, there was a British sister (Tashi) who was too much to handle. She was very rude, her mouth was dirty and they had to keep beeping out everything she said.

I used to go to High School with Nikki (AKA Nikita), I dunno she's always been the loud/outspoken/funny one. That's just who she is. I think that the show is just using that and simply portraying that when she also has a lot of other qualities to offer. Half the time she's being a bitch a lot of it is sarcasm and a huge joke. i don't entirely agree with you; i think her beauty/adder shot are both using basically the same face. it's just the styling & set that's changed. but yeah, if she would be more, um, "diplomatic," she's Final 2 material. if she ends up as a working girl, she'll meet influential people, people she must maintain professional relationships with. if she's blunt about who she doesn't like, she could find doors slammed in her face, imho. being outspoken is one thing... but learning tact is another.
