Wow, great video, this is my husband's drive to and from work everyday. We live in Woodland Hills, and he works in Santa Monica. He takes Topanga to PCH and then PCH all the way to the CA incline and he works on the corner of 2nd and Broadway. It's an awesome drive and even though he does it every single day he never gets tired of it.
@RyanKnowsTech It is, My wife and i live close to Pacific Coast Highway and it is so nice, go drive down to Topanga Canyon Blvd, that is the street we take to come down to Pacific Coast Highway, it is nice...
Awesome, it starts off in santa manica, i used to stay in the shrga la and miramar where wiltshire ends, and I used to drive in my hire car all all PCH, past malibu, up to that rock with the squirrels, and on the way back go up into topanga canyon.
I really loved going to LA as a British Guy. Great video, don't spoil it with music, it will lose its ambience.
Best part of the video is the drive down the "California Incline" to the PCH. This road was made famous in the 1962 movie "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World". In an unforgettable scene Phil Silvers swerves around a police car stopped at the bottom to race up the hill to a fictitious "Santa Rosita State Park". Spencer Tracy is filmed parked at the top of the incline as two cabs round the curve toward the upper traffic signal. I'll be there next month from Toronto to see this. Rare video! Great!
Ha. Just seen this without taking much notice and the first thing that came into my head was: "This part is California Incline surely, seen in IAMMMMW." Love the movie!
i would recomend taking pch to las virgenes canyon if u wanna get to the 101 its the straightest route without the curviness of decker canyon in westlake
at first hes on the main SAMO street...cant remember name.....then he goes down CA incline onto pch (pacific coast highway) and continues on pch for the rest of vid
i live in Malibu so i would know......
mk.
Was the end of the vid where malibu ends and if u continue it takes u to camarillo???
@ChampUSC My husband does that drive every single day to work and I doubt he knows what that street is called either. I can't remember either and I drive that way on a regular basis to meet my husband for lunch and to visit my sister who also lives in Santa Monica.
or you both could just turn down your computers sound. Wonder which would be more difficult?? Hmmm....which begs another query; what would have been more difficult: typing in your request for the author to edit her sound, or turning down one;s own sound? Hmm....part II
My daily commute.
The best part of my day.

pch to kanan to the 101 is probably faster and definitely less curvy than both decker and las virgenes

If you know the area so well, why don't you know the name of the street the video starts on? It's not Main St.
