easily one of my favorite rally games, i would rather play this then Dirt for some reason,

@nfdids nope, Dirt is still a good game, the problem is some people just don't like the eXXXtreme everything about it (like you) it makes the game "feel" different, the off road racing - it just can't find it's place - first in ToCA now here, the music is a part of EXTREMEness, the only thing I miss is a separate career mode with repairs because it was a bigger challenge. You can't say it's a bad game. GranTurismo stayed the same and the magic kinda died. DiRT should be just less "showy"

@nfdids IMO it got boring, they didn't change anything except the graphics, I got bored of it at the point of GT3, GT4 was the same and same with GT5, AI, driving, cars, even the sounds, I really liked GT2, well maybe I just got bored of this game and the fact that another titles are just the same thing with different graphics doesn't help, GT is still good but if you played one, you played them all, it just feels like replaying the same game with more content

That's the way a rally games must be! Make some fine-tunings to your 300 HP, 4WD WRC car, and get out there and raise a cloud of dust! This game is the reason I got interested in Rally, played it first when I was 5 or so, and only stopped playing it because I had borrowed the CD, and the owner wanted it back:( Hoping to find another CD now, so I can play the game of my childhood again! PLEASE CODEMASTERS, re-release this one!

@Billiez0401 explain to me why do I still play this game after so many years, but with dirt3, after a couple of days, it's in godknowswhere because i got tired of it, great gfx, great engine sounds, but, the game doesnt really push you into it like 2.0 does, old games will always be ''better'' than new ones, sort of

@Turop7 i think dirt 3 is simulator... the arcade one is dirt 2.... dirt 3 only had 8.7 km longest stage anyway... for me the physics is more

@Billiez0401 that's why I think it's more arcade than simulator, but the stages are too short, and they are always the same, but reversed and cut, the physics and sounds are great, no doubt about that
