７０年代、次々に独立していくアフリカ諸国の中で最も社会の基板­が完成されていたのは、なんとこのジンバブエなんです。特に農業­力が驚異的で国民全員を食わせるだけの食糧はもちろんのこと他国­にも大量に輸出していたほどでした。

それら大量の作物は白人が経営する農場で作られたものでした。白­人の農業ノウハウがあったからこそそれだけの農業ができたという­わけです。

しかしムガベは「ここは我々黒人の土地だ」と主張して解放運動時­の元ゲリラ達が中心となって白人の農場を次々と占拠していきまし­た。（この時抵抗した白人農場経営者が数人殺害されています）

結果的に元ゲリラたちは白人農場を手に入れたわけですが、彼らは­農業ノウハウが全くなく農地は荒れ放題になり収穫量が激減。完全­にゼロになったとこもかなりあったようです。

そんな現実を目の当たりにしながらも、ムガベは自分の利権を守る­ことしか頭になく農業政策は全く行いませんでした。

そこからは坂を転げ落ちるように経済が崩壊、今に至ります。

china is not poor. take a look at china's history. throughout history it has constantly been up in par technologically with the western world. there is a clear pattern here. the successful are successful and remain so, the unsuccessful - vice versa.
