Anyone wants more verses to "Love Your Enemies", "Repel Evil With Good", Do not Insult? The Golden Rule? The Ten commandments? They are all in Islam, particularly the Kuran, When you read the Kuran, Read it with Love, And not Hate.
@AhmedOnMoment Hey, these verses are good--I don't see any problem with them. Mosab Hassan Yousef whose book "Son of Hamas", was in Jerusalem. In Hamas he had been taught to hate Jews as a Palestinian. He was radical and his dad higher up in Hamas. He met a Christian in Jerusalem who told him that Jesus said, "love your enemies" and that one phrase, per his own words, transformed his life. He is now my brother in Christ and I claim him. Peace to you in Islam.
Jesus is the peacemaker and the one who brings peace to the human heart. We are given the ability to have peace in the middle of unrest, chaos and terror. Would that we claim it more from Him but truly He is the giver of peace.
@nighthawk7878 Islamic teachings do not contradict with Jesus' teachings, but The God is the same in all the three, with some changes to the concept, but we are all worshiping the same God, Hamas itself is trying to gain back Palestine, The stolen land in name of God, Refer to something like IfAmericansKnew.o_g to see what do Israelis do to Palestinians, It is logical to hate them, On the other side, Muslims do not hate all people. Peace be to you in Christianity, We are all followers of The One
@AhmedOnMoment I am glad you mentioned the concept because the concepts are very different. Islam took from Judaism and is based on obeying laws. Same for judaism--just slightly different laws in some cases. Accurate followers of Jesus claim no merit of their own. We by faith in Jesus claim His blood for redemption and forgiveness of sins. As Jehovah said to the Hebrews, "there is no forgiveness except by the shedding of blood." That is why there are sacrifices in Saudi Arabia today.
@nighthawk7878 The sacrifices in all the Islamic world are Animals being sacrificed by being given to the poor and needy on the Eid Al Adhy Day, This is based on Abraham's Sacrifice attempt. In Islam, This day is a holly day to remember God and giving the Poor and the Needy.
Hebrews 10: 1The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.
Hebrews 10: continued: 2If it could, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins. 3But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins, 4because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
Here we see that animal sacrifice in the Jewish tradition was a picture of the sacrifice that was needed to take away sins. These verses intertwine the concepts of sacrifice and sins as does many other Old Testament/Hebrew passages.
@nighthawk7878 i can care less about animal sacrafice what will you say about slaughter houses are they sacrafices too. Does that mean the same when muslims sacrafice humas for their god allah. Only satan will ask for human flesh if sacrafice of humans is a way for forgiveness then we should all kill and got to heaven and live for ever. The quran teches murder and hate not love and i dont undrestand why all muslims dont compare themselve to other muslims that belive they should ki
@AhmedOnMoment do not contradict?... as in do not point in OPPOSITE directions, or do not DISAGREE entirely, or not CONFLICT? if by "contradict" you mean disagree, dissent, contravene, negate or differ.... then yeah... yeah there is one G L A R I N G irreconcilable disparity with islam and Christianity which is pretty clear on the THOU SHALL NOT KILL command and I'm not getting that message so clear from the good old orders of jihad and jihizit... One is GOOD the other EVIL. They conflict!
@misselissisme I have already mentioned numerous verses that illustrated the idea that Islam contains that message, The "good old orders of jihad" do not exist, Jihad as presented in the west is a complete myth just to put Muslims as the next enemies-in-line; As for "THO SHALL NOT KILL" I think Jesus disagrees, afterall, Jesus loves his enemies... and then kill them all. [Src: loonwatch . com/2011/04/jesus-loves-his-enemies-and-then-kills-them-all/ Remove the space before the dot and after it]
@AhmedOnMoment Love your enemies he died for us siners. We are the ones as humans kill not jesus. what dont we talk about mohamed his life story. He is a child molestor. a liar, womanizer and a murdered but then thats the kind of person muslims wants to follow. What did mohamed do for his people, and what jesus do for us. I believe someone came to mohamed and that is allah but who is allah what does the real meaning. theres only one god and satan in this world who do u worship?
So the Idea now turned from Love your Enemies, which I mentioned, To Rebel Evil with Good, Indeed mentioned in the Kuran, Also is Seek for Mankind what you seek for yourself.
“Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you.” —Muhammad, The Farewell Sermon
The Kuran commands:
"those who show their affection to such as came to them for refuge and entertain no desire in their hearts for things given to the (latter), but give them preference over themselves" —Kuran 59:9
@AhmedOnMoment Continued, “Those who patiently persevere, seeking the countenance of their Lord; establish regular prayers; spend out of (the gifts) we have bestowed for their sustenance, secretly and openly; and turn off evil with good: for such there is the final attainment of the (Eternal) Home." K. 13:22
"Nor can goodness and evil be equal. Repel (evil) with that is better: Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy friend and intimate!" K. 41:34
"Twice will they be given their reward, [..] that they avert evil with good, and that they spend (in charity) out of what we have given them." K. 28:54
"but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah: for (God) Loveth not those who do wrong." K. 42:40
"Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men; for Allah loves those who do good.” K. 3:134
The Qu'ran does indeed mention Love your enemies, and Repel Good with Evil many times.
"And not alike are the good and the evil. Repel (evil) with what is best, when lo! he between whom and you was enmity would be as if he were a warm friend. And none are made to receive it but those who are patient, and none are made to receive it but those who have a mighty good fortune." K. 41:34-35
“Turn off evil with good: for such there is the final attainment of the (Eternal) Home." K. 13:22
@AhmedOnMoment great verses! Good commands! I am glad they are in the Koran. We love the words of Jesus "Love your enemies and do good to those who despise you." That is what got to this guy the most, because he had been trained to hate his enemies. Jesus bless you!
@nighthawk7878 There are much more verses, God bless you too (Jesus is not God). But I have a question for you, Whom did Jesus pray to? I can't get he prays for himself. Is Jesus a Demi-God? How come Jesus is God and he died on the cross?
Now first off you need to understand that reading the Quran in english is only a mear attempt to translate it, but a lot of the meaning is lost in the translation. Next The quran does not directly say "Love your enemies" Intsead there are surahs which show the same meaning in a sense. like this." O mankind! We created you from a single soul, male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that you may come to know one another not despise eachother" [49:13]. Peace be with you.
@IbroPasic The Qur'an does not say 'Love your Enemies; JESUS said 'Love your Enemies' and He gives POWER to love one's enemies as this palestinian leader found out. When he found the REAL Jesus He worshiped HIM!!!! You Worship Him too!!!
I do not worship Jesus (PBUH). I worship Allah. Jesus is a prophet, and he sent out this message to love your enemies, Muhammad sent out these similar messages.. And i know Jesus said this Jesus was a great prophet and a great HUMAN. Nothing more than a messenger of god. I do not worship him nor do i worship Muhammad.(PBUH) I only worship Allah (GOD)
I only worship God and yet I worship Jesus. Jesus is the God, who manifests in human form much like He did in the Old Testament to Abraham. Jesus gave this former Muslim Palestinian the POWER to LOVE his enemies because Jesus has to POWER to give. Do you have the power to love your enemies?
Hahaha you continue to repeat the same thing. Yes i do have the power to love my enemies. But i am Muslim. I believe int he teachings of jesus but i think christians changed what he said. I believe he was not god in anyway, but instead a prophet that god sent down and sent messages to. But that is mine and you have yours and that wont change Good day.
Yes, I know what Islam teaches about Jesus. However, they fail to help Muslims understand what the Qur'an says about Jesus. According to the Qur'an, Jesus is the exalted one. Above all mankind because per the Greek He sits right next to the Father. the Qur'an teaches also that Jesus is the exalted one, "near-stationed" to the Father. So, you see the Qur'an, on Jesus, is close to the greek.
Another thing you are taught is that you can't really understand the Qur'an except that you read it in Arabic. This is not a concept among Jesus followers. The greek can be meaningfully translated into English and all the languages of the world so that all know this exalted one who is near-stationed to the Father.
excuse me i thought you where mormon because i saw,a picture what was being used by mormons,so i thought probably you are mormon and you folow bible, and it didnt make sence to me,im sorry.Ok then you are real christian, then blessings of Jesus to you,and its realy a good video...your the man..keep it that way...
Thanks. The point I was making is the claim of later prophet and thus greater, more "final" revelation does not hold if simply later is better. Why? Because the Mormons have a prophet alive today is Salt Lake City and you can go there and talk to him--why not follow his words if later revelation is better.
@wajidmajid Actually, as the video points out--he does. And I love you! That comes from my heart--a heart that Jesus transformed.
