  • Ha Ha lighten the mood. Give your worrys and anixety and keep your will strong.

  • Question: do you worry about other people?

Sometimes people will bring you down because you believe God.

People will even try to confence you that he is not real. hell you cant see Him because He is bigger than you. Even bigger than the earth.

  • So beautiful! The Lord is so merciful!

  • I love this testimony! Stay on fire for the rest of your life! I'm a 16 year old boy who used to be so on fire for god but i lost it because I got trapped with the wrong crowd and got caught up in porn and other things that are degrading to the spirit. I'm still in that place now in a way but your an inspiration and just remember that god is gonna use you to rock this world!

  • This is exactly what I've been needing. Like you I grew up in a huge christian based home, went to church every Sunday, blah blah. I'm 14 now, and I still believe in god 100%. I have my like questions sometimes but my dad told me its okay to question faith sometimes because I'm young and I'm still learning. I still go to church on Sundays but it's not like it's a priority to go anymore. I go when I feel like it. I'll take a sleepover on a Saturday night and not go to church the next morning. Bu

  • God is the wizard of OZ is fiction. And like the wizard says, the strength is in you, you must love yourself. The biblical god is a mass murdering dork. It's all fiction.

  • @ UNKOVVN your totally wrong, and you need to shutup.

  • tHIS IS BEAUTIFUL GOD IS AMAZING!

  • thats the best you can do ,read the bible and you will change you mind.its a work of fiction that has been done before j.c. was born..have a darwin day

  • YONG LADY ONE DAY YOU WILL WAKE UP FROM CHRISTIAN BONDAGE AND START TO THINK ON YOUR OWN.PLEASE LOOK UP THE WORD DOGMA,BRAIN WASHING ,CRITICAL THINKING,REASON,LARGIC..YOU NEED TO SPEND TIME LIKE A CHILD.YOU NEED TO WORRY ABOUT NOW NOT SPEND YOUR LIFE WORRYIG ABOUT DEATH.EVERYTHING DOES NOT LAST FOREVER EVEN RELIGION....HAVE A DARWIN DAY

  • @MrEnlightenup Christianity isn't bondage evolution is. Why would you embrace big foot over God? Christianity has survived for over 2000 years. Humanity wont survive that long thinking we came from animals.

  • @psycofloyd You don't even make sense. What does bigfoot have to do with anything? Christianity has existed for about 1900 years. We did not "come from animals" - we ARE animals. There is no debate, it's just a fact. Embracing a world-view based in reality is the ultimate freedom. It frees us to be truly good and moral without the threat of infinite punishment for finite transgressions and infinite rewards for gullibility and self-righteousness.

  • @MrLeethle lol we're not animals. Can't you look in the mirror or are you blind? Why degrade yourself like that? You must hate alot of things.

  • but.. but... Jesus is a myth. Nazareth did not even exist until the second century. The gospels were not written by eyewitnesses. The vast majority of the new testament was plagiarized from pagan precursors and the old testament. Textual analysis optimistically suggests that at most eighteen percent of the sayings attributed to Jesus might have come from the same person... but certainly not Jesus. Christianity is an immoral belief system. Vicarious redemption and wish thinking for the lose.

  • @MrLeethle Umm no hes not. Jesus died for you. Why do you turn from Him? Follow the 10 commandments and tell me that's immoral.

  • @psycofloyd LMAO!! First of all which "Ten Commandments"? There are three different sets. The bible refers only to the first set as "the ten commandments" and this is not the set that most people are familiar with. And what about the 617 laws? Either way it's irrelevant. The ten commandments that you are talking about are not moral. Three of them are: don't kill, steal, lie. The rest are terribly immoral. Just search youtube for "ten commandments moral".

  • @MrLeethle The 10 commandments. You have read them right? I dont think you have. Atheism is immoral.

  • @MrLeethle LOL I can laugh at you too. Evolution is like a zombie that doesn't hes dead.

  • Anyway, after three comments, Emily! Thank you for sharing your testimony. I pray that you continue to let God shine through you! :)

  • @hugenberg1275 Thank you for sharing YOUR story too! It's a great encouragement. :)

  • I myself have struggled with cutting as well as Rx abuse. I was taking twenty Oxy's a day for months. I was an addict at 15 years old. My whole testimony is too long to write on here, but after a long night of prayer and confession, I never touched another pill. Overnight, I was healed of my addiction without any withdrawels or side effects.

If you claim to be a Christian, don't ever tell anyone that God can't do something.

  • God uses different things to speak to and to reach different people. Look at the gospels and the parables. A lot of stories told in the gospels have the same message, but are told in a different way. Why? Because Christ was speaking to a different group of people.

God CAN work overnight. How can anyone believe in Him and not believe that? That's putting a limitation on God, forming Him into something He is not.

  • For the people who are making negative comments on here, I just have a few things to say to you:

For one thing, the Bible says in Romans that God has revealed his invisible qualities, so that no one is without excuse. Even if some one has heard of Jesus, everyone is able to look and see that this magnificent world we live in did not come from nothing. People will argue that, but that's just a theory with no solid evidence. God has miracles, resurrections, and testimonies like Emily's.

  • "never place such an? ultimatum on myself again"

I happy you wouldn't do so again, but Im saying it was a false choice to begin with.

Same as people that say the would have killed themselves if not for Scientology, It did not have to be an either or situation. I glad you choose the silly choice over suicide, and if it helped you overcome depression thats great.

Just saying it wouldn't be horrible to imagine what helped you was really inside you all along: no superstition required.

  • @4:15 Looking back do you now consider this be a rather silly and over reactive ultimatum to place on yourself. Or do you still feel this way?

  • @Greathiway If you mean threatening to commit suicide, then yes. I was severely depressed and suicidal at the time. I would never place such an ultimatum on myself again. I was not well at that time and I think suicide is nearly always an overreaction. I'm so glad I have a God who loves me anyways and that I didn't make the decision to end my own life. :)

  • @1:50

All I can is of when i hear this is of the west borough baptist and the interviews ive seen with the girls that left their family.

There are a couple great BBC Documentaries about them that Id highly recommend, also Jesus Camp if you haven't seen that. (I can send you torrent links)

  • great Testimony Emily :)

  • wow. i never would have guessed

  • for certain events in life one hears persons say "it was a gift from God", "God is punishing you", or "it was God's will". obviously a god's actions affect our actions. our will is free?

  • millions of persons all around the world have died without ever hearing the name Jesus. today, there are some persons in remote lands who have never heard about this man called Jesus. the only reason you have is because the persons in your life have been told about him. this is the same reason other people believe in other redeemers. how come these redeemers never showed or proved themselves to these millions of persons, but Jesus did to you? think about it, there is more to it.

  • @UNK0VVN And you have proof for every single person that encompasses the millions? Every last one of them? Yeah didn't think so.

    Assumptions =/= truth

  • @psycofloyd of course not, and you know that. do you have proof that everything in the bible is true? where you there to witness it? i think u just assume, because you have no proof.

let me see. hmmm. why would christians travel thousands of miles in treacherous conditions to tell the native people of north and south america about a man they already knew of? ohh, maybe, it is because they had never heard of him.

  • @UNK0VVN Yes ask yourself, why would they travel so far to talk about someone they dont know? Maybe they do know Him. In fact, according to the Bible, you HAVE to know Him to be a Christian. There are LOTS of things you have to be to be a Christian. It isn't something you can brainwash someone into. You can however, brainwash someone into thinking we came from animals. That's easy, going against human nature however, is not. Read the Bible before forming an opinion please.

  • @psycofloyd Why do you assume that I haven't read the bible? The bible has many nice things, but many bad things. You must looking the other way if you believe the bible is only good.

  • @psycofloyd People do all kinds of things to convince people about things they believe in. Of course you can brainwash people. Religion is about emotions not facts. It's easy to scare people with religion.

  • @psycofloyd God isn't real. All cultures have created gods and claim to feel it/them as much as all the other gods. What makes you different? Nothing. If you don't believe in evolution you haven't read enough books or talked to enough people. I don't mind if you live in a bubble, but don't go around trying to convince people about your craziness.

  • depression and some other mental disorders are normal in teenagers. their brains are changing. those who believe in a god and those who don't can equally suffer from depression. think about it, there are so many factors involved.

  • Thats an amazing testimony, Im sure God will use you in a multitude of ways like how he already has!

  • amazing testimony!

  • Love hearing how God has worked in your life.

  • Um in my opinion God doesn't transform u just like that. YOU transform.Like i don't think God is the one doing harm to people and to this earth we are the ones. It's true he helps us through many things even if we say he doesn't but moslty, with the belief he's there, protecting us we can do things ourselves without suiciding or even worse.....but it's just my opinion :)

  • great Story Emily, God Bless you always :)
