I heard that "Bjork" means "you're standing on my windpipe" in Icelandic. True or not, the guy on trumpet is one of the few horn players out there I'd consider hiring for my band.

It's funny, really. They're regarded as innovative. Bjork is some kind of muse to the artistic world. Well I'll tell you I was there. The Sugarcubes were treated like absolute shit by American audiences with the exception of a few very open minded listeners. Very funny.

1) Someone took exception to the "God does not exist" line in "Deus",

and (more plausible)

2) They applied for their US visas via the UK rather than Iceland on the first occasion, which wasn't the correct procedure
