Business needs money from their customers so the business can pay its bills.

There.com was expensive to run with all its 1000's servers, and employees.

Well true but you can see it from sewerel angles.

1 US dollar gave you 1800Tbux how often dont ppl buy colas pizzas or movie tickets clothes shoes they not really need. Its all about priorities.

If its because of a very tight budget well There is not a high priority, food and home is, then person wont run an expencive car either.

Now There re-opens and it will be 18+ so people will mostly accept things cost money. I would like it to be free too but things in life costs.

Well if you want to play a game you buy Sims.

If you want to play and chat and meet real people from all over the world There. com is perfect.

In There you dont have to pay a monthly fee like other online worlds.

You can paintball, compete in racing, quests, explore and much more.

Have you ever heard of HabboHotel?

You don't have to pay a monthly bill on that either.

And I can give this game props for the paintball, and the racing, quests, and the exploration.... that sounds kind of fun..

Is The Sims Online still alive? I remember a lot of their members left and joined There. com in stead since EA kept promising stuff that they never held. I heard of Habbo, its the platform Cokestudio was build on AFAIK. I never tried it though. I like There's cool 3D world, take some friends on a ride across the islands or making it a race, who get to this spot first...GO! :) The 3D animations of vehicles and avatars are really well done. There has some great cardgames too

Yeah.. there are still a lot people on The Sims, I still play it, well atleast on the Sims 3 (the new one). I don't know about the other ones. You should try Habbo it's pretty cool. But I've tried to download CC Metro but it would never download on my crappy ass computer. I thought it would be cool after you said that it had races and stuff.... I am dissapointed that it wont download, I really was looking foward to playing it..

Well if your PC runs The Sims 3 withc is a very new game it really should be able to run There. Did you get some kind of error message?

This type of thing was llllloooooong overdue. One of my biggest gripes about There was how you had this gorgeous place of islands and places to visit, but no tourist-themed area for newbies. My idea had been for There to have an airport, but a port of call is a guzillion times better!

How do you become a beta tester for there?

Hi ConmanIncorperated, everyone can be beta tester since the tests are open to public. Look in the forums for when they announce a new one. If you allready a there member you be able to do the next beta test. In forum read the beta section and download the beta client when its released. Tests usually last 4 hours i think.

We tested the new welcome place where new members will have a great and welcomming experience.

This place was in beta so lots will still be added, hopefully access to the cool looking ships too! When it gets active Greeters and guides will assist and welcome new members.

I think this place is a great idea and it will be fun to see this place filled with new members taking their first virtual There steps.
