  • One hell of a Trio

  • Wow ! the Banjo Krueger is unbelivable fast, and you can hear every Single Note. They are Fantastic Musicans !

  • I used to listen to them when they were just young street musicians and already outstanding. Used to throw coins into their open guitar case.

    Long ago...musta-been in the eighties.

    Peter

  • Wi vedd issn dess bittäää?

    YEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAA (from germany)

  • Bluegrass in Frankfurt? More like Frankfort Kentucky? HA if in germany BLuegrass sure has made a headway from where it started!! HAHHA

  • Aloha, 219Pebbles - I'm envious that you saw 'the Boys' in the UK last month. I have a serious Kruger Brothers addiction..., and need a live 'fix' as often as possible. Hoping to catch up with 'em on 13.4.08 in Palm Beach Florida USA. They are a phenomenon!!

  • Saw the Kruger Brother on 08.03.08 at the Eaglemusic Workshop, in Huddersfield, United Kingdom. What fantastic people, full of talent and always willing to sit and talk. I was blown away by their talent. Jens undout

btedly the best there is. That also goes for Uwe and Joel. Can't wait to see them again.

  • These guys are DA BOMB! I see them every year at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA where they jam at the Deering booth blowing people's minds! Can't wait to see them again come January!

  • they played at my father's 44th birthday party 13 years ago. I saw them live plenty. uwe is such a funny and talented musician. and jens, well, jens is just a genius. unbelievable.

  • Overwhelmed, bowled over-they are the best group of entertainers I have met. I have started fan club, and we finally have a web site. I head for Guthrie tomorrow and I cannot contain my excitement.

  • jens kruger is the best banjo player in the world, and second is not even close. these wonderful gentlemen now live near wilkesboro, nc, and are a pleasure to listen to and talk to. i would highly recommend their live Carolina cd (the first one). and by all means, see them live!

  • It was a music convention.

  • ...But, what's with the people standing around and talking behind the table, oblivious to the awesomeness going on just ten feet away?!

  • Also, the song is "The Train That Carried My Girl From Town", originally recorded by Frank Hutchison in 1926 as a solo slide guitar piece. Doc Watson has been playing it his entire career (I think he actually had bought the record when it came out), and the Kruegers' version is adapted from Doc's. Great song, great playing, great clip! Thanks, hiflynblues!

  • If anyone knows them, please tell them about this video and that the soldiers in Germany send there love!!

  • These guys are simply THE BEST! Ive saw them once in Morganton, NC and can't wait to see them again!! Carolina in the fall is comin' up before long so I will make my trip to Wilkesboro to see again!

  • These are the Krueger Brothers from North Carolina. Hens (banjo) and Uwe (guitar) originally from Europe, Switzerland I believe. Joel Landsberg is the bass player. I saw them last winter at a concert in Lansing, Michigan at a guitar shop named Elderly Instruments. They have a nuber of CD's out besides blue grass with a hint of gospel.

  • krueger brothers, one of the best banjo players in the universe, Jens and his brother on the guitar is no slouch!
