Mar Bawai is a courageous and beautiful example of what it means to be a man and stand up for what is essential in life, God.
His response to the Holy Spirit to lead him back to the true Church, the Catholic Church, is inspiring and laudable.
He did right in leaving the Assyrian Church of the East to join WITH the Chaldean Church, not abandoning his Assyrian identity (let's face it, God doesn't care about you ethnicity, get over it), but reconciling it with his faith.

Then go convert to a Catholic. If you understand your history and are somewhat educated, this is exactly what happened back when the Chaldean church began. All were Assyrians, part of the Assyrian Church of the East. One bishop decided to branch out and start his own route, thus Chaldean was born.
