Instead of buying a 600 dollar rusted out "needs everything" car. Spend a little more and get a decent foundation to start with.

that $600 car was a 70'chevell that was only good for the motor and even that was just a small block chevy i could have bought anywhere for 300 bucks.

the rest of the car went to the crusher it was so bad. lesson learned.

Nice Malibu, I had a 69 bu also. Upgrade to discs those drums all the way around are sketchy. Im not a brake road race guy but it was like night and day. 427/400/9'' at the end then sold it. GL with the car!

Thanks. Lt1's are nice I have one as well as this car but I prefer the old style small blocks because they are easier to work on. I actually have installed a new engine in this car and put cam, headers, and lots of other goodies in my LT1 T/A. Check them out in my videos.

Yeah I plan to keep mine fairly tame. The rings and pistons/rods were just replaced on mine so all I need is a more aggressive cam, a rear end, and some minor body work.

your thinking of the ls1 the lt1 was produced from 1970 to 1972 which was the most powerful 350 ever produced by the chevy manufactures

The LT1 was also produced from 92-97 as the second generation small block with reverse flow cooling. I was mainly referring to the 93-97 F-bodys. 98-02's had the LS1.

It's a 350 v-8 with an rv cam, headers and old style double hump heads from '68 or 9. (492 castings)
