ya i live there. That must have been an amazing day because just to let all of you know those types of waves come only once every two months. And now they've gotten even smaller because the bridge that had sand under it, they but water under it. So now the current has gotten rid of the waves. But if you go further down to tween waters they're still the same. Or if you come further up to Bowman's beach back on Sanibel, those can be butiful and they curl. But ya...
Anyone have any footage of day to day at Blind Pass? Looking to move back down.. Im on the east coast in NH and the waves are knee to head height on any given day....
@beachbabeforev that was most likely a tropical storm or an aproaching hurricane swell...... since it's outta the south......therefore summer time..........Although we occasionally get south swells ahead of cold fronts but if that were the case the wind would be Sw at like 20-25mph .........so I would bet my right nut that this swell was between late july and late Oct.
