Hi, I had a quick question about your 7200 setup. I just got a 7200 too and I have the IS300 oem navi screen. When you put your retrofit together, did you have to take the 7200 apart? Or was the whole housing along with the dock able to fit in the stock navi housing? Any help is appreciated. I want to get this setup this weekend.
@PROLlFIK i havent done the retrofit of the 7200 into the stock nav housing yet. it will fit but will take lots of work. you have to take it out of its original housing and solder to the original contact points for power. that, or try and see if their is a cigarette usb adapter to power the unit.
yeah on most of the higher end garmin gps's you are able to replace the stock Garmin logo screen on startup with something you make custom. so i created a simple lexus logo and uploaded it to the gps. and no, the warning is always there, goes away automatically after 20 sec. otherwise you hit agree and are good to go.

May I ask how you were able to do that? And is there someway of removing the warning screen from boot?

@emokid3030 use ximage to upload a custom image created in photoshop. my next work is to try and get that beast into the stock nav motorized housing.
