@tarantulaguy1976 shame they didn't make it though its rare for something like that to make it. it would of been interesting to see how it would be if they were fully grown.
they couldnt survive unless you tied string around them, they would of survived, they constantly try to rip themselves apart causing internal bleeding man thats why they died next time if there is a next time tie a thin snug string around them even when they are adults
@tarantulaguy1976 aw man! That sucks. Me and Lloyd were wondering if they would make it, and we both were wondering how they would molt. Poor little fellas :(
Sorry for your lost man, but I think they wouldn't survive anyway. Their body wasn't capable for surviving unfortunatly. Would've been cool though, never heard that a siamese twin tarantula survived.
thats amazing...i really hoppe it survives to an adult, that would be so cool to see,and also, do u no if its the only 1???or have there been others that other breeders have gotten?
Have you noticed the mirrored legs moving independently? I'm going to throw a random guess that maybe there's still only one brain and what we're seeing is the same actions on both sets of legs.
What about stomachs? Do they eat separately? If this(these) guy(s) survive a few more molts it'll definitely be one for the record books. Call Ripley's.
Them feeding will be interesting, they haven't fed yey...they are still feeding off the yolk....but they are turning dark so a molt will be coming soon (scary time to!!)
ive got to say, if they are ok and can molt right, and grow to healthy T's how frickin cool with that be to see. i mean this has to be the only one around the world to be like this... amazing. and im glad im witnessing this..
I'm wondering if when they get bigger (heavier) they'll be able to support eachother, and also unfortunately if one dies the other one will follow unless you can separate it somehow, something to think about. Be interesting to see what happens, hope they live long happy lives though!
Rob do you think they both using the same organs? If thier organs and separate, you could give food to one only and it will molt faster and maybe could drop his brother from his back with the molt...interesting spiders :D
These guys are really amazing, I hope they live a long, happy life. :-) Haha, have you thought of a name or two? I'll be anxiously waiting for more updates of these little ones, and the upside down one!
How long did they survive? These lil guys were AWESOME!
