rockinfield is one of the few drummers to use a click trak, thats why you see him wearing headphones, it s why his timming is so dead on, also, once he starts you go by his lead! somthing many bands could learn from!!!!
Yes that is Scott R. I was at this concert in BF Walla Walla but definitely worth the long drive. I finally got to meet GT after 20+ years of going to QR concerts, an unforgettable experience!!
My wife and I were at this show and it was a near religious experience. One of the best times we have ever had. We will never forget it. I can't wait for new music in 09.
AWESOME! As good as any version Queensryche did in 94/95. Seriously. If only this was better recorded! As was though, AWESOME! THANKS! By the way, when GT stresses "alone" leading into the instrumental crescendo at the end doesn't it sound like early 1990s vocal cords at work? We need a live solod disc from GT! Add SPooL, Burning Man, Real World, and Chasing Blue Sky, to GT's solo tracks and that would be a crucial buy imho.
Whoever posted this clip from the Three Rivers Winery in Walla Walla, thank you very much! We were there and it was in my eyes one of Geoff Tate's best performances! Make sure you buy a bottle of his new wine, "Insania", when it comes out in February 2009. You better pre-order it now or you will be out of luck to taste such a fine wine.
I was at the spokane show. Anybody who missed this 3 date 'tour' missed out big time. In spokane on sunday night they performed alot of queensryche songs. Geoff made an excellent choice on starting the set with 'Burning Man' and finishing the night with a perfectly etherial 'Silent Lucidity'. The band members recruited for these dates were excellent musicians as well. Pam on backups made the overall show a memorable experience! Well done on the quick post from walla walla! peace- rob
LOL I saw the pictures of this at Geoff's site. Where's Pamela?
