  • Hi, few questions:

-timelapse function (not speed up video)

-optical stabilizer quality at full zoom for videos

    -slow motion mode (200fps..)

I'm mostly in it for video, but it's photo modes are a nice touch for my needs.

I'm actually comparing between HD cam panasonic hdc sc90 and this sony.

    Panasonic has really nice stabilisation.

Both have nice wide angle, good zoom, picture quality.

Like the focus ring on the 100, while the 90 has LCD + - buttons to adjust, which is not so practical.

  • What is that creature you used in the background? It's the second time you've used it in your tutorials.

  • @ccbanker - lol, that's my studio mascot, Gunther (a stuffed animal frog). ...I've had that guy for years and he generally behaves well in front of the camera. :)

  • where can i find the way to that ...??

  • @qamoooori - The manual focus ring video? It's this one: v=ARYvfFdCalw

  • Is there a 24fps mode on this camera?

  • @simon44 - No

  • Great tip to use the manual focus. I wanted to ask about the auto focus on the camera. When tracking focus/autofocus is turned on and I zoom into a subject the camera fails to focus and you only see a blurry image. I have somehow not been able to get this to work, even with manual focus. Any help would be appreciated.

  • this effect is the most thing that i love in this Camera

    Thank U so Much

  • i am having problem controling the focus ring. the focus bar on the LCD is very "yearky" and not so smooth when i turn the ring.

and what mode is the best?

  • @NightRid3rs77 - I had a difficult time getting the manual focus ring to get in the right position, too. It seems that if you turn it too quickly, it jumps from one side of the horizontal bar to the other. If you turn it too slowly, it hardly moves at all. After experimenting for a few minutes, I finally got a feel for the right speed to move the dial. Regarding the correct scene to use...I like: Landscape for outdoors, Twilight for indoors. Hope this helps.

  • @BinaryCafe Thank you.

  • thank you for all your tutorials ,, you helped me a lot ,, please continue
