  • why can't I get this in HD? (totally kidding).

  • I remember always being really disturbed by the ending of this film.

  • Lol i just love the sound of the slap of ollies hat on the water at 21:51 lmfao ive never heard a big water slap like that in my whole life

  • Poor Ollie. How many times he's gotten poked in the eye, fallen in a water hole, gotten drenched, punched, hit in the head, stepped on, ... :-)

  • greatest scene ever on film @0:45:00

  • This is my childhood right here and I'm 15. I love these two so much, but I only remember the first half, I suppose I fell asleep every time I watched this.

  • I love L&H and I'm only 20. Stan is amazing!!

  • This is by far one of my favourites, I really wanna watch the one where they have kids lol ((:

  • TODAY THERE"S NO SUCH MOVIES.

    PTHUU!!!!!!

  • Christ I've tried watching the Three Stooges. Compared to this it's very very poor.

  • Lol... Mr Ed in the end

  • 0:46:They will be shot in the morning and Stan plays THE WORLD IS WAITING FOR THE SUNRISE!

  • Laurel: "We won't need this will we?"

    Hardy: "No!" 0:21:34

    SPLASH.

  • Out of all the comedy duos that there have ever been across the world, Laurel and Hardy are by far my favourite, I have never watched a funnier pair, they make me laugh now as they did when I was a boy, Stan Laurel was a brilliant comedy writer, he always played the underdog who was slightly bullied by Hardy but always got his own back without even trying.

  • I first watched this movie in 1986 and i still wanting more of it at all times.

  • I'm not a man and i haven't 35-64 years but i love this duet. ♥

  • I'm going on a horse riding coarse this summer. I'll be looking out for him ;-)

  • anybody else fed up of being expected to watch a bloody advertisement before the video

  • Thanks Lucky Kentucky! Great flicks!

  • no use crying over split milk..... :D

  • classic!!!

  • When Hardy became a talking horse that was better than Mr. Ed.

  • @jityr2 I think this was before Mr. ED

  • Classic! i love the ending!

  • stan and babe were not only the funniest comedy team of all time, they were truly the best of friends.always were and always will be!

  • loved it

  • wasnt in 1939 full hd avalible?

  • Stan and Ollie could make walking through a door into a 5 minute sketch.

  • love it!!!!i miss these

  • Brilliant

  • ty for this great show

  • Anyone else thing the BBC should include a slightly edited version fo this in the series 6 Doctor who box set, with random matt smith thrown in for hijinks at cetain points?

  • @VonCreakyskin As if the BBC would give away free stuff in their Doctor Who boxsets. If someone gave them that idea, they'd probably try and squeeze a whole new DVD release out of it

  • Doctor Who, woo! (second)

  • Wait a minute... Where's the Doctor ?

WHAT ??? Time has been rewritten ? AGAIN ?

    :D

  • Thank you so much for uploading this. Laurel and Hardy never fail to make me laugh no matter how bad a mood I'm in :).

  • brill stuff love it

  • brill stuff

  • LUCKYSTRIKE502 - Thanks for posting QUALITY !

  • If Laurel & Hardy had played on Abbott & Costello's baseball team, they would have been known respectively as Stan the Man and The Great Babe!

  • My father loved these two.

  • What a charming movie. Was fun to see a flash back to the day when you could take a vacation to Paris on fish market wages :)

  • @islandsylph It was easy for them 1] They travelled Steerage (as indicated on their suitcases) 2] They shared one glass of milk with 2 straws each drink, and 3] They stayed at a little family-owned Inn rather than at a fancy smancy hotel!

  • Ollie lost a lot of weight towards the end there! :D

  • Thank you for posting this! I love Laurel and Hardy! I think this is one of their most underrated movies. I actually have ranked the features like this.

    1/Way Out West

    2/Our Relations

    3/Flying Deuces

    4/Blockheads

Flying Deuces may not have as much slickness as the Hal Roach movies, but it still has lots of good scenes. However, when you have a good supporting cast, such as James Finlayson you can not lose!

  • @APyleOfVinyl Also, this film is my favorite RKO crossover film. This movie has all the elements of a Laurel And Hardy movie unlike when the Marx Brothers were in Room Service. Room Service to me was really not a Marx Brothers movie, it has very few if any memorable routines, and the chemistry just was not there.

  • @APyleOfVinyl Go West I think had fewer Marx Bros. funny moments than Room Service. They were not allowed very much flexibility in that one.

  • @USSLexington1709 Yeah, but Go West feels more silly, but yeah it is not their best movie. My favorite is Duck Soup, how about you?

  • MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

  • Thank You very very much !... I felt so happy to see them again !... It's a part of the best side in my chil life !... Have a Merry Christmas !... Best Wishes to you !

  • @MANDRAGAURE To You Too M8 I Feel The Smae Way

  • nice

  • wow.....3 cents a day "sucked" ...even back then!!

  • thx

  • cause we dont work for no less then 25 cents a day.... lmao

  • i like this movie but i think there are better movies

  • thank you ,,danke

  • i love this movie one of their best. one question, how did you manage to go past 15mins of vid? :) thanks!

  • @Lorcanproductions cause he's a partner

  • @LonesomePine369 ah i see =D

  • They should have credits at the begining nowadays - then people would have to watch them!

  • i'm only 22 years old but when i was younger i had this movie and it was my favorite

  • i like how the clock rings again (accidentally) just before she comes

  • I always thought that it was really heartbreaking in the scene at 16:42 where Ollie talks to Stan about being on his own where he said, "Do you realize that after I'm gone that you'd just go on living by yourself, people would stare at you and wonder what you are."

What Ollie said was true in a way because Ollie was the one to pass away first in 1957 and I just discovered recently that when Ollie passed away in the hospital, Stan held his hands and broke into tears.

  • @legendkiller2004 its not true that stan was holding ollies hands when he died....

  • @legendkiller2004 That's not true about Stan being with Ollie when he died.

  • Don't cry aboud copyright! Art is for everyone!!

  • my life lol

  • These two were "the" Comic geniuses of the 20th Century. What a shame they both

died in poverty.Stan Laurel even had someone to pay his Telephone Bill!!,this was because they both overlooked the "repeats" part of their contract. Therefore instead

of being paid handsomely when their Films were seen on TV they instead got nothing!!.What a shame as they both deserved so much better,we will not see their like again.

  • @flanneryged

Neither of them died in poverty. Where do you get your information? Do you repeat unconfirmed rumors, or do you just make them up?

  • @Perlinator67 Actually "Dog Wanker" I read it in Stan Laurels Autobiography, where it went on to state that he could not even afford to pay his own Phone Bill,Then again

I suppose it depends on what the individual considers poverty.Where do you live

"Uncle Salty" out of a Dumpster you fucking arse wipe. Why don't you fuck off and mind your own business you child molesting creep.Go and see if your boyfriend needs his bags emptying instead of writing me any more of your fucking stupid crap.

  • @flanneryged

Sorry if I offended you, flanneryged. This is the first I've heard of a Stan Laurel autobiography. It must be extremely rare, as none of the books or articles I've read about Laurel and Hardy ever mention it's existence. I would love to have a copy! If you have one, I will gladly pay you $500 for it.

  • @Perlinator67 It was Ghost Wirtten and I read it in the mid 1980s,I think Oliver Hardy

managed his money a little better than Stan Laurel. However neither could be considered well off.

  • @flanneryged

The Stan Laurel autobiography you claim to have read must be incredibly rare, as it is not to be found on eBay, Amazon, or Abebooks. It is not even mentioned anywhere in the books about Laurel and Hardy I have read by John McCabe, Randy Skretvedt or Scott MacGillivray.

Again, if you can get me a copy, I will pay you 500 dollars for it! Do you want the money or not?

  • @Perlinator67 Yeah drop it off in the Morning.

  • @flanneryged Stan lived in a really nice house with his wife before he died...

  • @flanneryged

Like I stated earlier in another post elsewhere....whenever a jackass gts bested in a disscussion they immediatly call te other a ped. You my friend hae proven to the world you are an asshole.

  • @flanneryged they never died in poverty....stan had a nice house in the 60's and lived with his wife....and he watched laurel and hardy films when they where on TV

  • Wow !

I was first struck with the realization that the type font "Hobo" was used in the beginning credits.....I didn't realize it was quite that early so I checked the book and discovered that is was designed in 1910 by Morris Benton for the American Type Founders Co....earlier than I thought.

Looks like it's going to be a cool movie. Thanks.

  • Thanks for posting, a wonderful ending too!!!

  • Funny movie

  • Pretty good movie, I love Laurel and Hardy. But it sucks that some dicks claim they own Laurel and Hardy now and keep pulling them down from youtube. If more come in Public Domain, do you plain to upload them?

  • THANK YOU, LuckyStrike502!!! I'm so happy you put this up!

  • Hey LuckyStrike502... How long did it take you to upload 1 hour film?

  • Thanks for uploading this

  • thanks for uploading!

  • i love this movie

  • the fat guyhas a mustache like hitler o.O

  • @deprez2000 no, Hitler has Charlie Chaplin mustache. Fat guy has Charlie Chaplin Mustache.

  • @deprez2000 Oliver Hardy! have some respect..... hes not called fat guy,...

  • @LonesomePine369 Well orry but i don't even know my moms name how am i suposed to know his name o.O

  • @deprez2000 O.o

  • @deprez2000

The "fat guy" (Hardy) had that mustache long before anyone knew who Hitler was. That style of narrow mustache used to be fairly common in the 1920's and 1930's. Charlie Chaplin had that sort of mustache too, as did animator Max Fleischer. In those days there was no associating of that type of mustache with nazis. In 1940, Chaplin made a movie called "The Great Dictator" in which he played a Jewish Barber who impersonates an antisemitic dictator who was clearly based on Hitler.

  • @DareYouNotToClick1 This is NOT COPYRIGHTED! It's in the PUBLIC DOMAIN!

  • @LuckyStrike502 - you tell em.

  • @LuckyStrike502 Really ?? I would have thought that the movie company were guarding a classic Laurel & Hardy film like a hawk. Squeezing it for money.

    (no complains from me)

  • @Altinget

The Flying Deuces was produced independently, although it was released through RKO. Independent producers can sometimes be careless about copyrighting their works. Before 1978, works had to be formerly registered with the copyright office in order to be copyrighted, and the copyright had to be renewed every 28 years, otherwise the works automatically fell into the public domain.

  • @LuckyStrike502

Hey LuckySrike....DareYouNotToClick has SO Many Enimies....Check out his page...Also ALL of his videos were DELETED!!!

  • @MrFlashBazbo He's a douche bag.

  • @LuckyStrike502

I guess so! Keep posting great slapsticl PD movies and I'll keep watchin'

  • @MrFlashBazbo

Other slapstick movies in the public domain include: "Disorder in the Court" with the Stooges, "Africa Screams" with Abbott & Costello, "At War with the Army" with Martin & Lewis, and ANY film made before 1923. Also, several dozen Warner Brothers cartoons (which are great slapstick comedies) from the 1930's and early 1940's are in the public domain, including some classics with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and the very first Tweety cartoon, "A Tale of Two Kitties".

  • (I ran out of allotted room!) In my opinion, "A Tale of Two Kitties" is one of the all-time great animated cartoons. It features Abbott & Costello caricatures as two "puddytats" trying to catch Tweety.

Also in the public domain: "Malice in the Palace", "Sing a Song of Six Pants", & Brideless Groom", all with the Stooges and among the best from the Shemp period. Our Gang (Little Rascals) films in public domain include: "School's Out", "Bear Shooters", and "Our Gang Follies of 1938".

  • @DareYouNotToClick1 It's not copyrighted. It's in the public domain. Can you not read the description?

  • @DareYouNotToClick1

Hey Cuntface. This is PUBLIC DOMAIN!!! You're just jealous that you had to put yours in little pieces and no one watched it!! Go to hell little fuck!!

  • @DareYouNotToClick1

This film is definitely NOT copyrighted. It is one of a small handful of Laurel and Hardy films in the public domain. (The others include Be Big and Utopia.)
