The Government of Egypt has stood by for too long silently and has taken little or no action to alleviate the clear discrimination against 18 percent of the Egyptian population who are Christians. It is time for this government to implement strategies on all levels to foster change. The government has within its power if it desires to make drastic reform to give Copts their full human rights in Egypt.
