  • Thank you for posting this. I have an 11 month old dog who i am going to train these with. i started her entireis today and she got them solid. Is she too young to add on more poles?

  • Thank you for this video! You have a gift for instruction and should do more! And, your dog is great. I'm hoping to see more from you guys on You Tube. I'm going to start a one-year old pup on just this much of the 2x2 training in a few months. When did you start with your dog and how long was your training before he mastered the weaves?

  • Thanks you for watching and for your comments. He was 10 months old when I started. He mastered them within a month but was too young to physically do them. I then channel weaved him until his growth plates closed. With my new dog, I waited to start until her plates were closed. It took 8 days to get 6 poles. then I did 6 for a couple weeks to solidify her entries. Then in one setting I got her to 12 by adding an additional 6 set 12 feet away fromthe first - slowly moving them together :)

  • What is the breed of dog? I know it's not a GSP because of the tail. It's a beautiful dog!

  • He is a "Pointer", not a GSP. In the Hunting world he would be called an "English Pointer". Thanks for watching

  • great video and lovely dog, the sitting in between your legs is the blind cross zone, SG and GD don't allow their dogs there.

  • YEs, I realize going between the legs is against Susan Garrett's and Greg Darrett's "system. My husband taught the "trick" and we only use it in this contaxt. Never during runs or in other training. He respects my BCBL :)

  • I am getting this dvd! My friend have it and it works wonders! I can't wait to get it!

  • When can we expect to see further steps to this method.

  • Oo, I started training our dog Pipsa like this and never heard about any Susan Garret. But I saw another videos about this method, and mine was different, thought if it hadn't worked I'd have taught Pipsa some way like in those videos: poles in a square form. And I made a video about training Pipsa. I uploaded it about an hour ago. But it is in Finnish.

  • Can you add more videos showing the other steps?

  • great video!
