I found much of the movie moved along slowly. I wish the director had shown their lives intertwine more...the crossing of their paths. Great love story, though. Love Anne Hathaway--she's gorgeous.

i just finished watching One Day , the last 30 min in the movie was really touching , i didnt see that coming and well yeah im sad that shes dead but its really done beautifully,and i know pple gonna hate it that is not a happy ending but the scene where dexter and emma kissed and say goodbye was the greatest romantic scene ive seen in a long time. darn it i shoulda read the book first!! oh well i think this movie is good, it wasnt bad at all ! thx 4 uploading this song!! i feel like crying now

I know David Nicholls wrote the ending, I have read the book, but the director could of chosen a different ending than the author. I think the director handled the script by David Nicholls pretty well. I'm just glad she didn't change the ending from the book and tried to make it a typical Hollywood happy ending. The author wrote it, no one could argue with that, but the director could've chosen to take it out.

Theres something amazing this song does to people. It overwhelms you with over a thousand emotions and effects every one who listens to it differently. The book/movie were both so moving and really put things in perspective and made you realize what is most important in this world, not unnecessary possessions but the people we chose to put in it and live with.

I love the ending of this movie. Not when Emma dies, but when Dexter is remembering when he and Emma met. The director couldn't have chosen a better ending for such a sad plot, she made it so bittersweet, because the last scene is so happy and beautiful and it turns out to make you feel happy. The last scene started a wonderful love story when Dexter had everything Emma and his mom. The feeling I got when this movie was over was inexplicable, my friend and I just stayed silent for a while.

The movie is sooooo awesome but terribly sad :( I thought it was horrible how they were finally together and happy and planning to have a baby and then Emma dies and Dexter is just devastated :( And all this time they could have been together and instead they wasted their time with stupid people :( But they stayed friends no matter what happens, and that shows how special their friendship and love was! I loved the book but the movie is amazing too and the music is just so perfect :):) <3

I went into this movie with the idea of a romantic but typical hollywood happy end movie, and it really kind of shocked me that this movie is completely different! it is just so amazing and their love and theire friendship is so real true! They make each other soo happy and the acters are just so amazing! No classic romanze! the End is so sad! had to cry & normaly i never cry in a cinema....best film i saw in the last time! :)
