apparently, this is the story. i dont know if its correct or not, but this is what i heard.

The Maine and Anarbor were friends and then they both signed, and The Maine changed their wardrobe, style, music and everything, but Anarbor stayed loyal to their songs and whatever, and refused to sell-out.

Personally, I love them both, but if thats true then it makes me respect The Maine a little less. Anarbor is amazing. So is The Maine.

Even if its not about The Maine, its about selling out.

Slade Echeverria made it known that he does not approve of the way he thinks The Maine is selling music. He thinks they are marketing their looks more than they are marketing the actual music and are conforming to what people expect of them to make a profit. Slade doesn't agree with that and thinks the music should be about the music, not the looks. He doesn't like The Maine as a band, but who knows how he feels about them as people.
