LL world series isn't jsut for 9 year olds dude....i played against whalley 2 years ago i think and they we like 11/12/13. We woulda went to World series but we lost to them in the finals in provincials. PLus the rest of Canada sucks so yeah.
Pony Division is 13-14 year olds. But PONY Baseball starts at age 5 & 6 with Tee Ball and escalates up until you reach 19 years old. Pony is more challenging than Little League because you can lead off and steal at the 9 -10 Mustang level. The field are bigger than LL too. Watch the LLWS and you will see these huge kids playing on fields designed for 9 year olds, what a joke. IMO.
No wonder he's hitting the 'long' ball, great hip rotation before he brings the barrel of the bat around. Ben's got very good swing mechanics for age 10.

Um ... when I was a kid pony league was for ages 13 & 14. I played LL and PL baseball before High School. There was nothing before Little League ...
