  • Why did the kangaroo have pants ON in le first place?

  • @SpindlyLegFlamingo they get cold in winter

  • :P Not a clue. And timmy71, as far as I know, it doesn't snow in Australia. But there's a major possibility of me being completely wrong. lol Although really, what kind of pants would a kangaroo wear?

  • I live in Australia & I can assure you it does snow here. (Mostly in the mountainous regions)

  • @YoungDot82 Haha why do people from other countries than me and you know nothing about us?!

by the way, isn' t john williamson in this look young?

  • This video clip was made in the 1960's before we had colour TV. That's why he looks so young...it's because in the clip, he IS ! lol

  • YoungDot82, it was 1970. In fact, the song was released on THIS DAY (June 4) 1970, marking forty years that John's been in the music industry. Congratulations, John, keep 'em comin' mate.

  • @MrPete1966 exactly, we need more of it, so kids and adults dont forget our true nation!!!

  • @YoungDot82 Wrong - it was not made in the 1960's. Old Man Emu was released in audio 1970. The term "before we had colour TV" was anytime before 1 March 1975, however in the context of TV in Australia it would be any time between 16 September 1956 and 1 March 1975. The song debut on TV was on 19 September 1971 on GTV-9's Kevin Dennis New Faces. He won the contest for that night. I saw the show. If I recall correctly he got a score of 43, which was considered quite high.
