Also, they should institute a new that would allow each skater to only use a specific spin position ONCE in each program. It's ridiculous to keep repeating the same spin positions over again in the same few minutes.
His triple flip looks to be taken off on the outside edge which should be a big deduction. Also, I hate this trend of all the jumps being done in the beginning of the sp.....it makes the programs seem so unbalanced. they should institute the 10% (or even 20%) bonus for jumps late (last 30 seconds) in the sp program just like in the long program.
Are you kidding? Slow? I don't think so...I use to dislike Evan's skating, but I have to give him props...he's improved more than any other skater in the world. His programs this year are AMAZING! He's worked on everything...he has tremendous speed, great lines, his triple axel has improved, and the height on the one he performs here is out of this world. He scores higher than anyone because he's the most complete skater today, with maybe the exception of Jeremy Abbott, when he's on.
Evan Lysacek's long legs and arms give him some of the most beautiful lines in Men's FS today. It really makes everything he does look smoother and finished. I love it when he incorporates spirals into his programs.
He is refined and looks fit as ever but a bit stiff on his landings, and that costume is Adam Lambert not the tall masculine man like he is. Please let him be less garish.
HAHA I used to be a HUGE fan of adam lambert, it cracks me up that he is mentioned as a pop culture reference. anyway...oh right I like this evan guy more haha!
i see that they went back and asked vera to add some fabric. why is that score so high? i see that he is well trained and that he works hard but what's with those scores? spins centered? what specifically is he better at?
Oh, is it Vera? No wonder... you can tell by the gathering at the neck--it's kind of similar to Michelle's blue and orange dresses from her Tosca year.
i know right!! even at nationals, i was watching live, and i saw it on the outside edge, and they counted it as a flip and got GOE. i guess they are just giving it to him.
aww barely a standing ovation. not like takahashi

WOW, to the performace. He has REALLY improved! Reminds me of Robin Cousins (1980 Olympic Gold)
Have to say BIG NO to the costume! It is SO NOT him!

And aren't the judges paying attention? That flip was done on an outside edge. Where's the deduction?

I would have liked this program and Evan if only he wears something other than BLACK.

the outfit looks almost identical to the long program one (which I hope he never wears again) but just slightly more tasteful

rather slow program compared to some of the other skaters, should not have scored so high!
