@Juggler3482 The war in Iraq is over and plans have been proclaimed to begin slowly removing soldiers. We have bases everywhere, so troops will never be gone completely. America still has troops stationed in Japan. The difference is we won't be in an unnecessary war. It all depends who is elected that will determine whether our relationship with Afghanistan will continue the way it has been the past decade or not.

We are not out of Iraq at all. They pulled back the troop's and replaced them wit contractors, the contractors are mostly american and they are payed for with your tax money. be it directly with taxes or with money stolen from the tax payers. contractors do the same job for 500% more pay.. sickening. I like a lot of Ron Paul's economic policies and his principles of small government, but his foreign policy is just ridiculous. It is true that there will always be a world leading superpower. What makes America unique is our values of political and economic freedom, and as long as we are that leading superpower, we should use our influence to promote those who support these ideals and oppose those who seek to crush them.

@Bronzecop Actually the constitution calls for a very limited central government. The federal government was supposed to have narrow and defined powers. The founders knew the dangers of a large central government first hand. State sovereignty was one of the central tenants of the constitution. The bill of rights were ten rights that guaranteed basic human god given freedoms, and states rights. The rights not enumerated in the constitution were left up to the states.

@Juggler3482 The war in Iraq is over and plans have been proclaimed to begin slowly removing soldiers. We have bases everywhere, so troops will never be gone completely. America still has troops stationed in Japan. The difference is we won't be in an unnecessary war. It all depends who is elected that will determine whether our relationship with Afghanistan will continue the way it has been the past decade or not.

They pulled back the troop's and replaced them wit contractors, the contractors are mostly american and they are payed for with your tax money. be it directly with taxes or with money stolen from the tax payers. contractors do the same job for 500% more pay.. sickening. I like a lot of Ron Paul's economic policies and his principles of small government, but his foreign policy is just ridiculous. It is true that there will always be a world leading superpower. What makes America unique is our values of political and economic freedom, and as long as we are that leading superpower, we should use our influence to promote those who support these ideals and oppose those who seek to crush them.
Plus I don't think he's electable enough. As long as Obama gets ousted!

In states where affilation with party is not required, no polls are done, so they don't even ask people like ME, an Indy, for PAUL.

We are in MORE wars than even under W, which is exactly the opposite of what Obama promised. He should have, via our constitution, have gone to CONGRESS to do a lot of things he's done (including killing a few Americans via drone?), but has failed us in that way.
If people could rally behind Obama, as they seemed to have done, we CAN elect Ron Paul to help stop this insanity.

Paul can beat Obie, mainly because of ALL of the so-called, Blue-Republicans (that's Dems who've changed parties in the past few months, for Paul), the Indies, who've also switched. Many are voting for Paul that are not on the rosters the pollsters use, so you may want to consider that.
Paul would be a heckuvalot better than Obama,, yeesh. at least the man comprehends American LAWS and LIBERTY.

@Bronzecop Actually the constitution calls for a very limited central government. The federal government was supposed to have narrow and defined powers. The founders knew the dangers of a large central government first hand. State sovereignty was one of the central tenants of the constitution. The bill of rights were ten rights that guaranteed basic human god given freedoms, and states rights. The rights not enumerated in the constitution were left up to the states.
