If you like Dougie's music, I highly recommend you go see him in person. I got to see him several years ago and it was fantastic. It was a small venue just outside of Cincinnati. He was very personable with the crowd. There were about 5 or 6 of us that stayed after the concert just talking and out came Dougie. He sat down with us, had a beer, and chatted for about 30 minutes. Great guy, too.

i live in scotland but come from ireland. I think both countries hold a great draw and wherever you go in the world you'll always want to return to these two beautiful countries if you're from there. This song captures that for me. It's both happy and sad.
