George "C" Scott is a sort of ready made heavy character waiting for a script. I can imagine him talking exactly the same way to the mailman. No wonder he pissed an entire generation of his profession off. And no wonder he isn't better remembered. Sad. Sellers was just mad. An unrepeatable genius, but mad.

Great find here, my friend. One of the greatest actors of our time. This man exhudes an aura of sincerity and clairvoyancy for his craft.

@Infinitesimalism I don't think there's a connection. Sellers had a series of strokes six weeks into the filming a different - and LATER - film for Billy Wilder. Sellers broke his LEG during production of Strangelove.
